IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
YLR2-5-16LB, HOT AND COLD WATER DISPENSER

This manual contains important information including safety,


installation, maintenance and warranty instructions of the
SnoMaster YLR2-5-16LB, Hot and Cold Water Dispenser.

Please read this manual carefully before use and follow all safety
information and instructions. It is recommended to keep this
manual for easy reference so that you are familiar with the
operation and maintenance of your appliance.

CRITICAL SAFETY INFORMATION


Before using this appliance, ensure it is correctly positioned and
installed as outlined in this manual. Follow these basic precautions
to prevent the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury:

• This appliance is designed for domestic indoor use only and is


exclusively intended for the dispensing of hot or cold water.
• Ensure that the incline angle of the appliance is not more than 45°
during transportation or operation.
• Before using your appliance for the first time, you should wait about
12 hours after positioning it in a place.
• The appliance needs to be levelled for optimal operation. You can
adjust the appliance feet to level it +/- 10mm.
• Ensure the plug is easily accessible after positioning the appliance.
• Avoid connecting or disconnecting the electric plug with wet hands.
• To disconnect the appliance, grip the plug and pull it from the wall
outlet. Never pull out the plug by the cord.
• It is advisable to use a dedicated power source and avoid
using extension cords.

• Please unplug the appliance or disconnect the power before
performing any cleaning, maintenance, or servicing.
• If the appliance power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
SnoMaster, its approved agent, or a similarly qualified person to
prevent any hazard.
• It is recommended that the circuit breaker size should be no more
than 20 amps.
• This appliance operates on a single-phase voltage of 220V - 240v /
50Hz, to avoid electrical surges, it is advised to use a surge protector
plug.
• Cleaning and maintenance should be supervised by adults, especially
if children are involved.
• The appliance should be placed on a flat surface and should be
completely unobstructed. Ensure to leave 150mm space around the
appliance to ensure proper ventilation for the appliance. Place the
appliance away from direct sunlight and heat sources (stove, heater,
radiator, etc.).
• Unless specifically recommended in this manual, do not attempt to
repair or replace any part of the appliance. All other servicing should
be referred to a qualified technician.
• Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids as they may create
a fire hazard or explosion. Also, avoid storing or using petroleum or
other flammable vapours and liquids near this appliance.
• Avoid solvent-based cleaning detergents or abrasives on the interior
or exterior as they may damage or discolour it.

This appliance contains CYCLOPENTANE and R134a


refrigerant , which is FLAMMABLE and may cause a fire
or an explosion.

Please observe the following instructions:
• Always ensure the appliance is out of reach of
children. Before disposing of it, damage the body.
• Follow the instructions of your local regulations
when disposing.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before installing your new appliance, please read all safety
instructions in this manual and follow the installation
instructions below:

• Remove the appliance from the box, ensure all packaging materials,
stickers and films are removed from the product. Clean the
appliance's surfaces with a mild detergent and a damp cloth before
initial use.
• Ensure the appliance is placed on a level, sturdy surface.
• Caution: Installing the appliance on carpeting may lead to
discoloration due to heat emission from the compressor.
• Ensure adequate air circulation for the appliance by maintaining a
clearance of at least 150mm on all sides.

FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
This Water Dispenser meets the requirements for producing
both hot and cold water, suitable for both household and
public use. Through the implementation of innovative thermal
insulation technology, this Water Dispenser effectively reduces
heat exchange between hot and cold water.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the label from the bottle (not supplied).
• Insert the bottle vertically into the bottle holder on the Water
Dispenser's top and open the red tap until water starts flowing.
• Plug the Water Dispenser into a dedicated power source and turn on
the power switch. The indicators will light up as the Water Dispenser
begins operating.
• To replace an empty bottle, gently pull the bottle out vertically using
both hands, then insert another bottle of water.
• For your safety, the hot water dispenser button is equipped with a
safety switch. Slide the switch to the left and press the button to
dispense hot water, ensuring protection against accidental harm to
children.

The recycle symbol on the product or its


packaging indicates that this product must
not be disposed of as regular household
waste. It should be taken to a designated
collection point for recycling electrical
and electronic goods.

CAUTION
Place this Water Dispenser in a dry area and avoid
direct sunlight. Maintain a minimum distance of
20cm between the rear of the Water Dispenser and
the wall. Avoid placing the Water Dispenser on
paper or foam, as they can absorb water and cause
leaks. Keep flammable items away from the
Water Dispenser.

Only turn on the power supply cord after water


starts flowing from the tap, as switching it on
earlier could damage certain components.

Ensure that this Water Dispenser is connected to


an earthed power source and a reliable ground
fault protection switch.

Avoid using abrasive detergents when


cleaning the water dispenser. Avoid
turning the Water Dispenser upside
down or tilting it beyond 45° while
moving it, and always keep it stable.

Avoid turning the Water Dispenser on or off by


plugging or unplugging it. Do not extend the
power cord's length to prevent fire hazards.

Wait for at least 3 minutes after turning off


the power switch before turning the Water
Dispenser on again.

The thermostat is already properly adjusted;
refrain from making adjustments yourself to
maintain the Water Dispenser's performance.

If the Water Dispenser won't be used for an


extended period, unplug it from the socket and
drain the water from the tank. If hot or cold
water won't be needed for a while, switch off
the Water Dispenser to save energy.

When using the bottom cabinet for the first time,


wait an hour before placing items inside. Ensure
hot food cools to room temperature before
placing it in the cabinet, and leave enough space
for proper air circulation.

CLEANING
TO ENSURE SAFETY, REMEMBER TO TURN OFF THE POWER SUPPLY
BEFORE YOU CLEAN THE WATER DISPENSER.

• Before cleaning remove the water bottle.


• Clean internal water tanks and pipes with clean water.
• Disinfect using store-bought disinfectant, then rinse.
• Yearly, have a professional clean the bottle supporter, tank and the
heating element.
• To drain, open taps and rear spout.
• Clean the Water Dispenser surface with gentle, non-abrasive agents.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Should you experience any issues with your appliance and the below
troubleshooting tips do not resolve the fault experienced, kindly
contact SnoMaster Service Department or your nearest accredited
Service Agent:

Water is not flowing • Ensure the bottle is not empty; replace


from the taps with new water bottle.
• Inlet of bottle supporter blocked
by bottle seal; remove the bottle and clear
any obstructions and reinstall the bottle

Bottle supporter is • Check that the bottle has been installed


leaking correctly and that it is not damaged. You
will need to replace the bottle if damaged.

Noisy operation • Ensure the water dispenser is positioned


on an evenly/flat surface.
