EMT Educators,
We hear from educators that they’re overextended, don’t have the time or energy to be
creative, and want options for their students and themselves. They need help to be
competitive and cutting-edge. Last spring, we beta-tested a solution with 13 different
programs and over 125 students.
We are thrilled to announce our latest offering: Limmer’s EMT Class Advantage.
Limmer Education’s Dan Limmer has created lectures and resources for your class!
These include:
Modular lectures and quizzes for flexibility and class integration.
8 modules with 60 lessons.
11 quizzes.
Final diagnostic exam.
Flexible lesson plans (optional 1 time purchase).
Our library of Dynamic Learning Exercises and case studies that coincide
with the lessons
Educator training materials to help you get the most out of these resources
while building your new dynamic classroom.
How Does It Work?
Before you assign recorded lessons, students will use their textbook and online
accompaniment (e.g., MyBradyLab, Navigate). Limmer’s EMT Class Advantage will
work with any textbook. In the recorded lessons, Dan will teach and highlight important
materials and prepare them for your in person classes. What do you do? It’s your class!
You will guide and direct the vision for the class, set the schedule, monitor your
students, and of course teach.
You’ll still have flexibility and control. We add resources and expert help in each module
to help you create the dynamic, creative, and marketable class you’ve always wanted.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
This is a hybrid program with three parts:
1. Your textbook and LMS. Your students will read and complete online assignments.
2. The recorded topical lectures we provide.
3. The in-classroom experience. This includes group and scenario-based activities
and skills.
We believe combining these three elements creates an outstanding EMT course that
provides both the depth and practical decision-making experience the student needs.
Do we have to follow the plan exactly?
No. You are the instructor and can help shape the course the way you believe it best
helps your students. The book, LMS, and online lectures provide a foundation for the
course. We provide a sample schedule with multiple options for you to use as you see fit.
Do I have to use a particular EMT book?
Dan is the lead author of an EMT book and he would love it if you used his—
but the course is designed to support any textbook. We provide a textbook
correlation for each module.
How will I know what to teach?
We provide resources to support the important in-person part of the course. There are
options for you to choose from for several parts of the course. We include an educator
video tutorial to learn about the course and how to use our materials. Online demos
are also available by contacting our Sales staff at 207.482.0622

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide everything I need to run the course?
Yes! We know that educators want to have innovative courses but don’t always have
the time and resources to put one together. We provide all the educational material.
You use your quizzes and tests as you see fit to measure student progress.
Will this be enough hours for an EMT class?
Yes. We believe it isn’t as much the number of hours but how you use the hours you
have. Hybrid classes use a combination of methods to account for hours including
online work, live or recorded presentations, and in-person activities.
How can I know if my students watched your lecture at home or not?
Each module has one or two short quizzes that covers the material in the lessons.
You will have the ability to unlock each module quiz for the entire class on your
dashboard. As educators, we must realize that students who try to figure out a way to
beat the system will do that–but usually lose in the end. Our lesson plans involve a
recap at the start of each in-person lesson. This is a great time to use Q&A to
motivate students to watch and test their knowledge.
What if I disagree with something you teach?
EMS–and medicine–is based on practice, experience, and opinions. While Dan has
been teaching for some time and is the lead author on an EMT book, he is very
approachable and would love it if you contacted him with your thoughts and questions.
We are confident that the issue will be resolved.
What if the students have questions about the lecture that I can’t answer?
Reach out to us at [email protected]! We will be happy to clarify or set
you up with a subject matter expert.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my state approve this course?
While this decision is left to your state, if they approve hybrid programs this should work.
You remain the instructor of record and conduct the in-person sessions.
Limmer Education provides educational material to support the course. We have details
available and will provide any information or documentation your state may require.
What if the time I want to spend on a topic is longer or shorter than the
lessons you provide?
It is your class! We support you however you do it. Our modular breakdown is broken
into smaller lessons to improve flexibility and integration. We believe our recording and
resources are valuable–but flexible–to create your ideal classroom.
