Part 2: Tell the last time you went to the museum

The last time I went to a museum was last month. I was very lucky to visit the
British Museum in the UK. The museum is very big and beautiful. I think I would
need seven days to see everything there!

Part 3:
1. Tell a museum you visited when you were a child.
My parents took us to the museum on holidays. They told us about history and how
people lived in the past. It was fun because there were many things to see. But
now, many things are gone or broken. Some are still there, but they are old and not
so nice anymore.

2. What do you prefer History Museum or Sport Museum?


I would like to visit the history museum because I want to learn about the past.
But I think the sports museum is also fun and interesting.

3. A lot of museums technology screens and videos in their exhibitions. Why


they are so successful?
I think technology helps people enjoy museums in new and better ways. In the
past, we could only look at things. But now, we can touch screens, watch videos,
and hear sounds to learn more. Digital maps help visitors move around the
museum easily. People don’t get lost. Also, we can read or watch information on
screens in the museum. We don’t need to bring a phone or other tools. Technology
makes the museum more fun and easier to understand.
Part 4: From next year, all museums will charge an entrance fee. Some people
think that if they have to pay fee, they will stop going. Please give your opinion
and tell the effect that may happen?

Dear Sir,

My name is Vu Như Quynh. I have been a member of the club for one year. I am
writing to share my feelings and give some ideas about the news from the club.

The notice says that from next year, all museums will ask people to pay money to
enter. Some people may stop going if they have to pay. To be honest, I felt very
sad (I was in a black mood) when I heard this.

I think the club should not do this. Our goal is to help people visit museums and
learn about history. If we ask for money, some people may not come, especially
students.

I have an idea. The club can make a small fund and ask visitors to give some
money if they want. This way, the museum can still work, and people can visit
freely.

I hope my idea is useful for the club.
