GRANT DESCRIPTION
1. Water Security: What is the current water security situation of the group?
How is the group accessing drinking water (borewells / handpumps, dug wells
/ ponds, any other source / piped water supply etc)? Please also give a brief
assessment on water source for other needs such as livestock, agriculture,
etc. If the groups is accessing water from multiple sources, please mention
them. Please share the challenges on water supply (quantity and quality) 1
2. Climate Vulnerability:
a) Please mention recent (past 5-10 years) climate hazards such as cyclones,
droughts, landslides experienced by the group? Please include both
extreme hazards and slow onset events.
b) How does the community perceive climate change impacting the water
security challenges? Please provide concrete examples/evidence. What
previous efforts have the group made to address the water security issues.

3. How do you intend to use the grant to address the groups water
related climate change challenges?
4. Please give very specific information related to women leadership,
financial literary and the organizing capacity of the group in the
past.

lead/take role in decision making etc.) :
