daily multi tasks to carry out the following duties or as any other tasks assigned by Officer-in-
charge of GE (I) R&D Delhi in single shift per day 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs from Monday to Saturday
excluding Gazetted Holidays observed by the office:-
(a) Physical maintain of records of section, general cleanliness and upkeep of the section.
(b) Dak Dispatching (Delivery of Dak, carrying of files & other papers within the building).
(c) Dispatch Runner Duties (Assisting in routine office work like dairy, dispatch etc. including work
on computer, photocopying, sending of Fax etc).
(d) Shifting/handling of stores, files and data feedings
(e) Other non-clerical work in the section, opening and closing of rooms, cleaning of rooms,
dusting of furniture.
(f) Watch and ward duties.
(g) Up keep of parks, lawns, potted plants etc.
(h) All other duties assigned by Officer-in-Charge in offices.
Note:-
(A). (i) The distribution of resources amongst various offices will be communicated by the Engr-
in-charge.
(ii) Exact timings will be as per requirement and the same will be communicated on day-to-
day basis by the Officer-in-Charge/Engr-in-Charge.

(B). Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included the following: -
(i) The Multi-Tasking Staff (Semi skilled) shall be 10th passed alongwith basic knowledge of
computer and minimum 3 yrs working experience in relevant trade shall be employed.
(ii) It is an express condition of the contract that tenderers are required to quote their rates duly
considered minimum applicable as per policy wages of the tradesmen intended in the tender, as in
force on the end date of bid submission. It shall be deemed that quoted rates are based on
minimum wages notified by the concerned authority for the station i.e. Govt of India/State
Govt/Union Territory, whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, GST,
ESIC , Bonus, labour welfare cess (LWC) and contractor's overhead & profits etc as applicable.
(iii) The shift timings will be decided by the Officer-in-Charge/Section-in-Charge, accordingly the
contractor shall provide the necessary manpower. However, no extra payment for the same will
be entertained by department at any stage. In this regards, the decision of the Accepting Officer
shall be final, conclusive and binding"
(iv) Increased wages including all other benefits in compliance of statutory provisions shall be paid
to workers by the contractor. No other claim whatsoever shall be admissible on this account and
the bidders shall consider this aspect while quoting their rates. It must be noted that in compliance
of the statutory provisions, the increased will be passed over to the workers.
(v) Any consumable item shall be issued by department free for fixing/filling. The contractor shall
collect and transport the same from E/M store yard to the requisite installations within 24 Hours at
his own cost and arrangement. Proper record for issue & receipt of store shall be maintained by
the Engineer-in-Charge & contractor.
(vi) Contractor shall provide first Aid Box in each installation at his own cost.
(vii) Original certificates regarding qualifications of operators engaged in the work, police
verification and Identity proof shall be produced by the contractor to the Engr-in-Charge for
verification and approval.

(viii) If the MTS is found absent from duty then Rs 1500/- or double the market rate whichever
higher per shift will be recovered from contractors dues.
(ix) Contractor shall provide two pairs of uniforms and shoes to their MTS the cost of the uniform
and shoes are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in respective items of
Schedule ‘A’. If MTS is found without uniform and shoes then Rs 500/- per shift will be recovered
from contractor dues.
(x) No payments of RAR/Final bill shall be made to the contractor unless proof of payment of
latest notify minimum wages to the workers by cheque or submitted by the contractor to Engr-in-
Charge for verification.
(xi) Contractor quoted rates shall be deemed to include above mentioned provision and nothing
extra is payable to the contractor on any account.
(xi) In case the rates quoted by tenderers are less than notified minimum wages as on bid
submission end date including all statuary provisions such as EPF, GST, ESIC, Bonus, labour-
welfare cess (LWC) and contractor’s overhead & profits etc. as applicable, his tender will be
treated as non-bonafide and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender
shall be determined amongst. Valid/bonafide bids.
(xii) The firm contractor shall be solely and fully responsible to his repetitive/personal for any
accident/damage during maintenance/operation/health related liabilities/compensation, penalty etc.
on this account and shall have no liability in this regard.
(xiii) T&P required shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.
(xiv) Contractor shall be responsible to maintain log books, duty roster attendance register.
(xv) The contractor shall not pay wages lower than the latest notified minimum wages in force to
their workmen/tradesmen including all other benefits in compliance of statuary provisions. Bidders
shall consider this aspect while quoting their rates.
(xvi) Attendance of all manpower deployed by the contractor shall be submitted every month duly
signed by concerned section where they have been deployed.
