Make 2
Leave approximately 5cm of
Starting at the base.

wire and securing it inside.

You will now crochet around
R5. [3dc, inc] 6 times (30dc)
both crochet circles with the
R6. [4dc, inc] 6 times (36dc)
card inside, making sure to
R7. [5dc, inc] 6 times (42dc)
thread the length of wire
R8. [6dc, inc] 6 times (48dc)
through the middle of the 1st
crochet round.
Fasten off the 1st circle and
sew in the ends, do not fasten
Or you can leave out the wire
off the 2nd circle.
and hang the finished
decoration as normal.
Cut 2x pieces of card in to 8cm
circles, make a hole in the
middle of one of the circles,
fold the wire in half so it’s 25cm
in length and thread the wire

through the hole.
R9. Ch1, insert the hook in to
the next st and in the 1st st of
the 1st crochet circle. 1dc in
each st around (crocheting
the 2 circles together with the
card sandwiched inside).

R10. Turn your work so the
wire is pointing downwards
and the RS is facing you. You
will work with the RS facing
throughout.
Working in the BLs, 1dc in
each st to the end (48dc)
R11-13. 1dc in each st (48dc)
R14. [7dc, cc, popcorn, cc back
to mustard] 6 times (42dc,
6popcorn)
For the popcorns, make 1 of
each of the following colours;
red, yellow, teal, bright blue,
lilac and pink.
R15-16. 1dc in each st (48dc)
R17. Working in the BLs, 1dc
in each st to the end (48dc)
R18. 1dc in each st (48dc)
R19. *Miss 2sts, [2tr, 2dtr,
picot, 2dtr, 2tr], miss 2sts, sl
st. repeat from * 8 times.
Fasten off and sew in all the
ends.
