We are looking for enthusiastic Intern to join the Risk Advisory Services
Team. The primary focus of the Intern will be to develop an understanding of
Information Technology (IT) controls in place for US based clients and test
those controls. They will work as part of the team to review the IT
infrastructure and business processes in organizations where Wipfli is
engaged to perform SOC examinations assessments.
Intern will work under the guidance of a Senior. They will be assigned a
"buddy" who will support them during the first 6 months.
We are looking for tech-savvy team players with a strong desire and
capability to grasp new things quickly. along with excellent communication
skills. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply auditing skills, IT
knowledge, incorporation of emerging trends, risk assessment and business
processes.
Main responsibilities of the role:
Undergo the training program scheduled by the company to perform
your job.
Develop an understanding of Information Technology (IT) controls in
place for our clients and test those controls.
Work in a team-based structure on assigned tasks for SOC readiness,
validated and interim assessments in accordance with Wipfli's
methodology and the SOC Assurance program requirements.

Work on the assigned tasks for SOC 1 and SOC 2 (System and
Organization Controls) examinations in accordance with the
attestation standards established by the AICPA (American Institute of
Certified Public Account).
Develop working knowledge of frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, SOC
2, ISO 27001 etc.
Deliver high-quality work product and assist other team members in
Wipfli India
Adhere to the work plan defined by the Senior/Manager in India and
the US
Support the team in providing related services to clients as required
Collaborate and interact with the India and US team members for
clarifications, open items, status calls, quality as per the need.
Participate in organizational activities and growth.
Desired Qualification and Interest:
Fundamentals of information technology and understanding of IT
General Controls
Well spoken and written English
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Strong desire and ability to learn.
Ability to grasp new things quickly and apply the learning at work.
Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects, follow through on
requests, handle work priorities and meet schedules.
Able to generate quality work product in a timely manner with strong
attention to detail.
Able to communicate well with team members across US and India.
Team player with good interpersonal and collaboration skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and Adobe PDF
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Science or
Information Technology
Percentage- 70% and above in 10th, 12th and Graduation
