Tools:
11666051 Pressure gauge
14290266 Hose

Hose of suitable diameter and length with ORFS 9/16–18 UNF
This method also includes all required tools and times for the following jobs:
Service positions
Stand-by pressure, checking
1. Place the machine in service position in an open space, see Service positions.
2. Remove and plug the LS–line on the ground-dependent pump's control valve with plug 935650. The pump is located
on the dropbox and can be reached from underneath.

3. LS-line/Plug 935650
3. Connect a suitable hose to the control valve's connection. Drain the hose in a suitable container, placed on the machine
in such a way that it does not tip over when the machine is operated.

2. Reservoir
4. Connect 14290266 Hose and 11666051 Pressure gauge to pressure check connection M3. M3 is located on the steering
and dumping valve, located at the trailing edge under the cab's right side, see Pressure check connections, description.
Figure 3
5. Start the engine and operate the machine forward at a speed faster than 5 km/h (3.1 mph) without activating the
steering. Read off the pressure gauge.
For correct standby pressure, see Hydraulic pressure, specifications
Stand-by pressure, adjusting
6. Loosen the lock nut and adjust the pressure on the pump using the adjusting screw for stand-by pressure.
Clockwise = higher pressure
Counter-clockwise = lower pressure
Figure 4
1. Adjuster, standby pressure
2. Standby pressure valve
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the correct stand-by pressure is obtained.
8. Tighten the lock nut and install the protective cap.
NOTE!
Check the seal ring.
9. Remove plug and hose. Install the LS–line on the control valve.
Neutral position checking
10. The neutral position pressure is checked in the same way as the stand-by pressure, but in this case the LS-line must be
connected to the control valve. The steering must be unaffected.
For correct neutral position pressure, see Hydraulic pressure, specifications.
Max. pressure, checking
11. Fit the steering joint lock.
Figure 5
WARNING
Drive the machine extremely carefully if it is operated with locked steering joint lock.
12. Operate the machine forward at a speed faster than 5 km/h, turn the steering wheel to the left, with the steering joint
lock locked, and read off the pressure gauge.
For correct max. pressure, see Hydraulic pressure, specifications.
Maximum pressure, adjusting
13. Loosen the lock nut and adjust the pressure on the pump using the adjusting screw for maximum pressure.
Clockwise = higher pressure
Counter-clockwise = lower pressure
Figure 6
1. Adjuster, max. pressure valve
2. Max. pressure valve
14. Repeat steps 12 and 13 until the correct maximum pressure is obtained.
For correct max. pressure, see Hydraulic pressure, specifications.
15. Tighten the lock nut.
16. Remove the measuring equipment from pressure check connection M3.
17. Remove the steering joint lock.
