The Directorate: Finance (Financial Control Section) has a part time position for a Specialist Management
Accounting at the Pretoria Campus.
The position requires someone who can effectively prepare and consolidate all Financial Reports within the
Institution.
Key performance areas
1. Financial Management
2. Management Reporting
3. Budget Preparation
4. Compliance with Policies and Procedures
5. Other Financial Management and reporting duties assigned
Minimum Requirements:
• B Comm (Accounting)
• A ¾ year qualification in Accounting.
• 3 years relevant experience at Management/ Specialist/ Professional level in Financial Accounting
and budgets (which must include preparation of Annual Financial Statements).
OR
• NQF level 6 qualification in Accounting.

• 4 years relevant experience at Management/ Specialist/ Professional level in Financial Accounting
and budgets (which must include preparation of Annual Financial Statements).
Registration with professional body (if applicable)
• CA(SA)/ ACCA/CIMA Or Similar Professional Qualification will be an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of Financial Managerial Reporting
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Requirements in respect of Financial Reporting
• Knowledge of Financial Systems
• Knowledge of Budget Processes and Models
• Operating Knowledge of ITS or another Accounting System
