Abstract: In the process of film and television director's creation, a very important work is audio-visual conversion, but there
are few relevant materials about the director's auditory creation idea. For novice film and television directors, auditory design
is abstract at the beginning, and they cannot grasp what is the key point. Film and television director is the core character in
film and television creation,who is also the responsible person in film and television work quality control. The quality of a
work of art is closely related to the script. From the aspect of film and television creation, the level of audio-visual creation,
the skill of visual creation and the ability of director artistic creation are closely and directly related. Under normal circum-
stances, the director will do two things strictly during the creation of film and television works. First, the film and television
structure should be reasonably planned. Second, the hierarchical composition of film and television creation elements should
be strictly controlled. The process of film and television creation means to choose the structure of film and television works,
and strive to be real in the process of selection, from a small shot to the whole film, so as to form an organic whole. When
selecting materials, film and television directors also need to make special treatment on the basis of film and television cre-
ation effects, and make use of different elements to form different film and television levels and film and television structures,
so as to provide conditions for achieving the expected artistic effects.

1. Introduction
Film and television directors are required to have professional business ability and strong creative ability in artistic
creation. As the directors of a film and television work, they not only decide the quality of the film and television work, but
also directly control the content of the film and television work. The praise and criticism of film and television works also
reflect the professional degree of the director in audio-visual creation. The audio-visual transformation from text to film is the
artistic quality guarantee of a film and television work. The specialization and proficiency of audio-visual creation directly
reflect the director's artistic creation ability of film and television work.
At present, Chinese film and television industry is on the rise, and the audience's requirements for film and television
are more rigorous. Therefore, the research of film and television directors' audiovisual creation is also increasingly deepened,
and it becomes more urgent to strengthen the ability of auditory conception of film and television works.
Film and television director's auditory creation needs to be considered in the grasp of film and television levels and
film and television structure. The essence of film and television audio-visual creation is a kind of art that needs to make
professional choices at every moment.Works should be closely related to reality and highly restore reality. However, film
and television works are characterized by a high degree of abstraction and generalization, which is a record of people's real
life as well as a second creation of real life. In the creation process, it is impossible for the creators to restore the real life
one by one and copy every aspect of life into the film and television works, which not only loses the artistic quality of the
film and television works, but also has no meaning for the film and television creation. Therefore, in the process of artistic
creation of film and television works, directors need to choose and reconstruct life materials. Life appearance should not be
reused in film and television material, instead, it means recreation again in the accumulated life materials according to the
living environment and life experience of the creator. On the basis of not divorced from the reality of life, the integration and
sublimation of materials are carried out, and the artistic effects of materials are excavated from different organizational forms
of life elements, and presented through film and television works.

2. Three elements of sound presentation in film and television works (sound, music
and language)
Sound is indispensable for a acclaimed film and television work. Sound can help the audience to be quickly attracted

to the film and television work in a short time, and the importance of auditory creation to the film and television work
can be found from the sound. In the process of creation of film and television works, film and television directors have
three elements that can help the audience to define the creation examples. In order to help the audience better understand
the content of the works, film and television directors conduct in-depth analysis of sound levels in their works. Since the
prosperity of film and television works, sound has become the core element of film and television works, and is an important
unit for the director to carefully consider in the process of film and television creation. In the early stage of the development
of video, sound only played the function of narrative, which was the basic function to cooperate with the transmission of
television images. With the development of film and television industry, the role of sound became more and more obvious.
Nowadays, film and television works are mushrooming, which are available to the public. The importance of sound is more
and more prominent, which is even related to the ratings and praise rate of a film and television work, it also reflects the
professional degree of film and television directors in auditory creation.

3. The auditory creation thinking of film and television directors

Generally speaking, auditory thinking refers to the understanding and comprehension of a person's sound, which can
be divided into external hearing and internal hearing. People directly retain the sound they hear to the brain, and make
information choices through the brain, and finally make accurate prediction of the sound through their own understanding
ability. Sound also represents the transformation of musical symbols. According to one's own musical literacy, sound symbols
can be transformed into words, pictures and scenes, and then effectively integrated into works through film and television
creation.
In film and television works, there are many ways to deal with sound, including the use of advanced technology, music
and other means can greatly improve the tension and expression of sound.Film and television directors attach great importance
to the processing of sound in the post-processing of their works, which is related to whether the works are accepted by the
public. Therefore, various attempts must be made to determine the most appropriate sound for film and television creation,
which is the best way to cultivate the auditory creation thinking of film and television directors. In addition, to effectively
improve the auditory thinking ability of film and television directors, there are several brief points to make.

3.1 Abandoning brain laziness and initiating brain auditory system

If film and television directors want to produce excellent works, they must purposefully strengthen their auditory
thinking.Traditional auditory thinking basically means receiving information passively. Therefore, film and television
directors should make some changes, such as changing the traditional auditory thinking from "being listened to and passively
received" to "active listening, receiving and distinguishing".
As the saying goes, the more you listen, the more you know. But in fact, listening by ear is only the first step of
receiving, after which sound information is transmitted to the brain and then to the heart for rational analysis and emotional
sorting. According to the analysis and argumentation results of the authoritative units, auditory thinking can be divided into
three modes, which are causal, semantic and simplified modes. In recent years, another mode of auditory thinking has been
added, namely the reference mode. So there are four modes of auditory thinking.
In general, the auditory thinking generated by the soundtrack in a film and television work reflects the audience's
response to whether the soundtrack sounds pleasant or not. Once the effect is good, the audience will be very curious
about the composition of musical instruments in the soundtrack. However, the director needs to consider more aspects of
auditory thinking generated by sound in film and television works. Sound can drive the audience to enter specific scenes in
the film and television and imagine according to the sound.In a wave of acclaimed film and television works, the sound and
soundtrack sound have left a deep impression on people, which are closely connected with the film and television works
and even integrated. As the first controller of film and television creation and film and television works, film and television
directors must pay attention to the edification and cultivation of their auditory thinking, and can not produce auditory inertia.
It is better to integrate the auditory thinking creation of reverse thinking into film and television works.

3.2 Breaking the sound limitation and opening the new boundary of multiple sounds
Sound covers speech, music and sound, which is also known as the three elements of sound, but also directly decode the
sound into three components.First, the function of language sound is to convey ideas and meanings. Second, the emotional
expression of music sound; Third, sound is the emotional sublimation of the work. The three functions are auditory sound is

visual creation, the sound has the attributes of music and sound at the same time, and the credit of the language attribute can

3.3 Enriching imagination for sound creation

In the process of cultivating auditory thinking, film and television directors can enrich their imagination without being
divorced from reality, which helps sound creation. The interference factor of auditory thinking can not be ignored. Film and
television directors create sound situation through their own imagination to remove the interference of vision to hearing.
Film and television sound is a specific sound existing in the work, is an abstract creative process and can not be seen or
touched.
The inner world of different people varies with differences in growing environment and cultural background, so the film
and television director during the film and television works creation by means of sound, sound in the inner layer has a strong
appeal and the pictures, that is to say sound is in the service of the film and television works and voice highlights the work of
administrative levels feeling and atmosphere, so as to give the audience a feast for the eyes and ears. Sound is an important
factor in the auditory thinking of film and television works, through which the audience reacts to the characters and scenes.
A good film and television works, auditory external stimulation and internal expression play an extraordinary role.

4. Analysis of auditory creation and conception skills of film and television directors
4.1 Picture hierarchy and structure in film and television works
In film and television works, the analysis of picture level and picture structure can be described as a combination of
multi-level and multi-angle.In the eyes of photographers and lighting engineers, the light and dark of the picture and the
control of the levels are closely related to the process of film and television creation. The light and darkness of human
face test the photographer's technique, and also represent the photographer's control of the work level, and finally fully
demonstrate the photographer's shooting skills and artistic level in the work. For the audience, the exquisite and rich feelings
of a film and television work are attributed to the precise control of details by the film and television creators.In the process of
the hierarchical control of picture space, the picture contains the principle of multi-level composition, and the composition is
placed in different structures of the work, highlighting the role of subjective emphasis, comprehensively showing the whole
process of the creation of film and television works, and finally the director's specific creation intention and creation concept
is fully displayed.
We need to dig deeper into film and television images, and we can also effectively use a series of technologies such
as distance and photophotography, light holes and object distance.Through modern and advanced science and technology,
the picture space is processed in both virtual and real ways, so that the emotions of the audience in the process of watching
are sublimated with the image.In the process of introducing the dual environment of the specific auditory system and image
system into the environment of the role, and then the audience from the physical and psychological two aspects closer to the
audience.In film and television works, the light and shade level of the picture and the spatial transformation level interact
with each other to form a structural relationship between subject and object. Film and television directors, lighting engineers,
photographers and other visual subjects exert dual influence on the audience with pictures and sounds, so that the audience
can quickly integrate into the specific influence environment, and then pass through the same environment, the same emotion
and the same idea of the film and television plot to express the emotion of the work.

4.2 The hierarchy and structure of music in film and television works
There are obvious differences between auditory level and visual structure in film and television works. The most
intuitive expression is that the auditory level includes sound, music and sound, and music also exists in the visual level. The
sonority and dullness of the voice and the passion and melancholy of the music all represent the strong and weak feeling of
the film and television plot, and the tone is the product of this situation.The state of music includes not only sound and sound,
but also different musical instruments. Musical instruments are also divided into different kinds, different music produces
different visual feelings of music. The edification and training of musical hierarchy can not be accomplished in a day,which
can be made based on daily edification. Film and television directors should have a unique and in-depth understanding
and exploration of this multi-level structure in the process of sound conception, especially in the anticipation and design
of music, so that they can be more purposeful and accurate in film and television creation and save the time of film and
television music creation.

4.3 Sound hierarchy and sound structure in film and television works
In film and television works, the sound level and sound structure should be considered comprehensively and
comprehensively, which is a problem that the director must think carefully when creating.Music is not the only sound in film
and television works, nor can it fully represent the influence of hearing.However, in terms of the overall creation of film and
television, the creation process of music is indispensable, and film and television works must also double optimize music
and sound according to the development of the plot, and the two are closely related.Definitely, music cannot be equated
with sound, which is also the biggest difference between the two. Sound level and sound structure are not familiar to the
public, and ordinary audiences can't even distinguish what is a good film and television sound, but the audience and film
and television creators can resonate through sound level and sound structure. Especially when the plot of film and television
works is happy or sad, the audience can distinguish the happy emotion or sad emotion according to the different sound level
and sound structure.For example, in the processing of sound level and sound structure of war films, the sound level and
sound structure of timbre and frequency are very prominent, which is different from the close match of the plot, and the
watching effect can arouse more emotional resonance of the audience, and the tension and expressive force of the sound
are more prominent. Sound design in film and television works is the director's thinking and understanding of the auditory

5. Conclusion
With the improvement of people's living standard, there is a incremental increase in demand for material culture on
a daily basis, and film and television works are popular spiritual food for people. Film and television directors should be
good leaders and strictly control the creative ideas from form to content, especially the idea of auditory creation of film and
television directors, which is related to the quality of works. Sound is the core element of film and television works. Works
spread content through sound. Under the guidance of science and technology, sound transmission carriers and playing scenes
are constantly improving and upgrading. Social progress, people's appreciation ability is also in progress, which on the other
hand, shows the prosperous development of China's film and television industry. Film and television directors should be
more strict with themselves. In the specific film and television creation, they should weaken their personal image to improve
their professional ability.In particular, we need to improve the ability of auditory creation, enhance the innovation of sound
processing for the high-quality communication of the film.
