1. Noli Me Tangere

• A groundbreaking novel written by Jose Rizal during his travels in Madrid, Paris,
and Germany, reflecting his experiences and observations of colonial oppression.

• Published in Berlin on March 21, 1887, the novel was written in Spanish to reach a
broader audience and expose the injustices under Spanish rule.
