1. New firmware for AIS MKD released
APP 1.55, new firmware for NSI-1000 MKD was released.
Note: Transponder firmware needs upgrading to TX version V2.0.4 for those V2.0.X. This issue
should have been informed by email in April. If TX version is V1.X.X, please see 4.
2. Purpose of new firmware
The new firmware fixes the bugs causing below problems:
a. The GPS antenna data A/B/C/D are wrongly displayed in the same figure for both external GPS
and internal GPS though they are different. It’s only a displaying error while transmitting data
is correct.
b. Alarm may occur on MKD and transponder may become abnormal after navigation status is
kept as MOORED or ANCHORED for long time.
3. Scope of products affected
All NSI-1000 shipped from NSR between Feb 4th and May 15th 2024 need upgrading with above
firmware. Serial numbers for affected products are as below:
