The payment deadline for your fee deposit is 20 days from receipt of this letter. Students who submit a deposit within 20 days from the receipt of this Preliminary Letter
of Acceptance secure a seat in the program. If you fail to pay a deposit within 20 days of the receipt of this letter, you may be asked to re-apply or be placed on a waitlist
without a guarantee of enrolment. Applicants can choose to pay a deposit equal to a full year’s tuition; however, it is not a requirement.
All students applying to Yorkville University are required to pay their fee deposit through the ApplyBoard payment portal. Please make your payment by clicking here.
By paying your fee deposit through the ApplyBoard Payment Portal, you are eligible for a $10,000 bursary, which will be applied to your tuition account in the following
manner. The bursary values assume you will study 12 credits (4 courses) a term and will complete 36 credits (12 courses) in your first three terms. In the event that a full
4-course term is not studied each of the first three terms, there will be a true-up in the final term of study to ensure that the student receives a full $10,000 bursary over
120 credits.

amount distributed across their remaining courses. Your deposit is $5,000.
By paying your fee deposit through the ApplyBoard Payment Portal (either directly by yourself, or by a third party such as an education agent), you accept and agree to
ApplyBoard's terms and conditions:
• All amounts paid by you to the school will be applied towards your tuition and other applicable fees once you have started your studies. Please note that,
subject to jurisdictional regulations, your fee deposit may be non-refundable unless you are refused a study visa or provide IRCC proof of visa cancellation, in
which case your fee deposit will be refunded to the source from which they originated. Subject to jurisdictional regulations, a $500 CAD administrative fee
may be deducted from any amounts refunded to you..
When you submit your fee deposit, you will receive a receipt and official acceptance letter. These documents are required as part of your study visa application to
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Yorkville University will contact you in advance of your start date and will provide a link to your New Student
Registration Form as well as your Plan of Study. Please note that students are required to register for courses in advance to the commencement of the program. All
international students are required to enroll in a health insurance plan through Yorkville University.

Yorkville University ESL Pathway Program
Students wishing to enter Yorkville University whose IELTS score falls below 6.5 may enter Yorkville University under the following conditions:
• Students whose IELTS score (or equivalent) is lower than 4.0 will have to successfully complete Beginner, Level 1 and Level 2 of the ESL Pathway Program.
• Students whose IELTS score (or equivalent) is lower than 4.5 but above 4.0 will have to successfully complete Level 1 and Level 2 of the ESL Pathway Program.
• Students whose IELTS score (or equivalent) is 4.5 or higher but lower than 5.5 will have to successfully complete Level 2 of the ESL Pathway Program.
• Students entering Yorkville University with an IELTS score (or equivalent) of 5.5 will enroll in Yorkville University's regular academic program and will enroll in
an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course in Term 1.
• Students entering Yorkville University after completing Level 2 of the ESL Pathway Program will also enroll in the EAP course in Term 1.
Students without an IELTS score will be asked to complete the Oxford Placement Test to determine their placement in either (a) Beginner level, (b) Level 1, (c) Level 2 or
(d) the first term of their academic program with a concurrent EAP course. Each level will take one academic term to complete.
All students will have access to on-going language and international student services during their studies at Yorkville University.
