HCV RNA is a marker of viral replication and persistence associated with disease progression.
Method Details:
Quantitative results are expressed in IU/mL
The HCV RNA concentration in IU/ml X 4.2= HCV RNA in copies/ml
The assay shows a detection limit: 15 IU/ml

Comments :
The patient is positive for HCV RNA with high viraemia.
