Also they advised the member secretary to obtain the “A+” or “Ad” certificate in NAAC accreditation process. This certification will be very much useful to go Autonomous status. NBA Renewal Process: Council members recommended to renewal the ECE department NBA accreditation process for the academic year 2022-23. Member secretary explained the process and execution of NBA renewal process in our GRT IET campus and he told that he will expect the external NBA inspection team in the month of March/April 2022, 180 Certificate Renewal: In order to maintain the good academic atmosphere in our Campus, Governing Council members suggested to renewal the ISO 9001:2015 certificate from TUV-SUD organization for the academic year 2022-23. Member secretary accepted the same. New Course - B.Tech - Artifi nt Council members highly recommended to go for a new course (Artificial Intelligence and data science) with an intake of 60 for the academic year 2022-23. In this regard chairman permitted the member secretary to execute the same with necessary University /AICTE approvals for further necessary process. Admission Guidelines: Governing council members app: for the academic year 2021-22. To attract 2{tRurTaN PAL aTwsrmeenesns eonc.09 \ ORTIUHALAKSHMIAGAR CHENNA:-TIRUPATHI HIGHWAY.committee members suggested to provide suitable special scholarship for meritorious students if they joined either in EEE or Mechanical. ‘Training and Placements; Members appreciated the Training and placement activities for the academic year 2020-21. ‘They suggested to invite more number of Tier 01 companies for both core and IT Industry in order to enrich our institution image in the society. Additionally they advised the member secretary try to place the students through internship at core industries NIRF Ranking: Members strongly recommended and suggested to make a active participatation in NIRF ranking system for the academic year 2021-22. Ph.D for Internal Faculty members: Governing council members suggested to increase the number of Ph.D candidates in GRT IET campus. In this regard they suggested to encourage our existing ME / M.Tech faculty members to register their Ph.D course on part time basis. In this regard Chairman announced to provide a suitable financial support to all the Ph.D doing candidates during their publication periods. Graduation day: Governing council members suggested to conduct Graduation day function in the month of April/May 2022 for 2017 - 2021 batch students. Chairman and member secretary accepted the same and tentatively planned to conduct the function in the month of April/May 2022. EGovernance Any Other matter Institute Vision & Mission and departments Vision, Mission and PEO’s has been disseminated by the principal Committee members suggested to conduct the sports day and cultural day function in our GRT IET campus with necessary precaution of "Covid 19". Committee members suggested to strengthen the R& D activities by sending the suitable proposal s to AICTE, UGC, DRDO & TNSCST etc. Member secretary replied and stated that every year we are applying the proposal in AICTE & TNSCST with the support of our faculty members and students. From TNSCSI every year we are receiving 03 to 04 grants in student's projects proposal scheme. Member Secretary assured that he will concentrate more in R& D activities for the academic year 2021-22.
