Reading report
Article 'Education, a matter of two: The school and the family.'

Taking into account the reading done, the article 'Education, a matter of
The school and the family from the recognized Academic Journal: Topics for the
Education, we can identify the following objectives pursued by the writing:
determine the importance of family involvement in the educational process
identify the causes that prevent Parents, Mothers, and Guardians from participating
in the educational processes of their children.

Families represent a fundamental factor and a role model for their

children, for this reason, it is essential that they work hand in hand with the
educational institutions where they are incorporated, allowing for the strengthening of the
ethical values that allow them to be integral people in the societies where they are
they develop.

The fact of involving the family in the academic processes of their children
it is key to strengthen their cognitive development and in this way achieve the goals
established at the educational level. The participation and collaboration of families in the
school denotes an optimal empowerment in actions related to
their children, so much so that parents must provide support to students in their
educational chores, motivating them, providing them with affection and assisting them with the

calls or meetings held by the school, with the objective of

awaken the interest in students and help them develop competencies
necessary.
The educational process requires commitment from the parents, therefore
Bitar (2003) states that:

Educating with quality requires you and your family to commit to the
school and that parents should be empowered, attentive to what
let your children learn and work closely with the teacher to support
your work from home (p.4).

Therefore, parents, mothers, and guardians are the key piece in the formation of
your children, implying that students have good academic performance
according to the requirements of the level.

With the solution to this problem, the ones who will benefit the most will be the

students, families, the institution, and the entire community in general,

due to the fact that if parents provide support in the face of the pandemic situation
necessary for your children hand in hand with school, it will achieve obtaining adults

trained and educated in values.

If we have a bit of empathy, we can also understand the position of

some parents who consider educational processes, especially in times of
virtuality due to the pandemic is somewhat tedious, as it requires a lot of time and
dedication, some appear unmotivated because they arrive fatigued after
a hard workday and the mandatory nature of working daily or
fulfill a schedule to meet the basic needs of the family; others,
they lack the technological knowledge required for proper monitoring
in this modality and some are unaware of strategies to motivate the child,
to set up your study room, among other factors, however, academic success
each child will be greatly influenced by the involvement of the
parents, mothers, and guardians in their progress, because they are the ones who truly guarantee

the completion of the activities strengthens the content and shapes a

personality of a sociable citizen with values at home.
