A CALL TO PURITY

Theme: Tito contains the following topics:

the boundaries of the Church at the height of Crete were known for their
moral decay, they were the Cretans, they are always liars, and
lazy, V, 1:12, Pablo gave instructions to Tito that the leaders of
the Church should be an example of Christian life for others.

A call to purity.

1. Preparation to establish Christian norms.

It is very easy to say that we have taken a step given "Promiscuous and

mixed, confusingly, two meanings", and that now we rest in

Christ. Many Christians have spent years in the world before
drawing closer to Christ, living according to humanistic principles and
of the sexual immorality of the world. They promised them freedom, 2 Peter 2:19.

On the other hand, the other Christians have grown in the Church, but due to lack
of teaching, of these moral norms, lack of knowledge of the
word of God, absence of the lordship of Christ in their lives, the
attitudes of the world have penetrated their hearts and are reflected in
lives, therefore many of them have fallen into immoralities not
only sexual, during their walk with Christ.

No person is free from temptations, "so, in the one who thinks

stand firm, see that you do not fall" 1 Corinthians 10:12. This concept. With the
bad ideas make us realize that immorality is prepared
in a large area of the Church. It is very important that people
learn to present yourselves pure before God.

We will begin this study of 'a call to purity', comparing the

humanistic norms of the world with the standards of moral excellence of
God.

From opposing viewpoints.

The human perspective on moral norms must be completely

different from that of the committed Christian serving the Lord.

The two great decisions.

The first thing I want to emphasize is that there are two decisions.

Receiving Christ is the most important step in life. If a person does not have

Young people or young ladies 1 Cor. 7:34-35, the maiden takes care of the things

care of the things of the world, such as pleasing her husband. This I say for
your benefit, not to keep them loose, but for the honest and decent, for
that without hindrance, you draw near to the Lord.

Benefits of youthful life.

As we consider the lottery life as a viable option for the

the rest of life, apart from her, is very healthy for us to explore the benefits
of being young.

Services of God.

1 Cor 7:32, "the unmarried young man cares for the things of the Lord"
can serve God more freely than a married woman. Although we must
first of all, take into account that Christ does not make complements and that he is

our main concern should be to serve.

There are fewer restrictions on how to use time.

All things are pure for the gurus, but for the corrupt and
incredulous, nothing is pure to them: for even their mind and their conscience are

corrupted. Luke 11:39-41, 1 Timothy 3:5-8.

2 Timothy 2:4, 5. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that

By realizing this, we can start over.

Feeding on the word of God.

The only way to achieve victory in the arena of maintaining the

pure thoughts, is to regularly feed on the word of God, its
word is a powerful and safe weapon the more it means for
personally it will change their way of thinking, and consequently their

What was to change this way of living?
