Catechesis in the light of Aparecida

Currently, we insist on understanding and embracing catechesis as a pastoral task.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES

a. Bring young people closer to the Lord Jesus and help them discover the life plan
that offers them as a path to personal fulfillment and salvation.

b. Foster a suitable environment in the catechesis in such a way that it allows for the
young confirmands, express your personal vocation in a commitment
profound and concrete.

METHODOLOGY

For the development of this catechetical pastoral, the pastoral method is proposed to see,
to judge, act, review and celebrate through an anthropological and enculturated catechesis,
which consists of integrating young people into their parish community, understanding them from their
personal problems and sociocultural environment and, in the light of the Gospel, encourage them to
discover the call that the Lord makes to them.
