Introduction
Before the invention of machinery, man performed each process at the pace that
physically it was possible for him to last for weeks just to elaborate a
product that today is made in minutes and even in seconds. but, everything changes
when the industrial revolution arrives which in turn brought about the invention of machinery
industrial which has been implemented in different industrial areas and has
drastically enhanced production in any industry, there are 4 types of
machinery which are electric, thermal, hydraulic, and robotic arm, below, we
detail each of them.
Industrial Machinery.
Generally, we hear aboutindustrial machinerybut not everyone understands what it is.
For this reason, we will discuss it in depth here in order to be understood in the best way.
way.
Next, we will also provide some examples of them, which will make it clearer.
concept. Likewise, and due to the breadth of the topic, the different types will be known
of industrial machinery that can be found today.
Definition and examples of industrial machinery.
Machines are currently found in all environments and are used to perform
variety of tasks, from the simplest to the most complex.
This is a type of machine, which actually includes several machines, that is found
available to assist in the different manufacturing processes such as fabrication
of products.
Inside these machines, you can find, for example, agricultural machinery, which allows
carry out tasks such as planting, as well as spraying and harvesting. In this particular case the

machinery is manufactured to perform various activities in the field and that is

they focus on the production of different raw materials, as well as on their
extraction.
But besides this example, there are others in the same agricultural field you can find.
Industrial machines that specialize their tasks are not the production of raw material.
except in its manufacturing. In this particular case, we find those machines with the
how food is made.
Knowing these examples, we must understand that, just as in agriculture, there are
these industrial machines are also applicable in other fields or industries where they can be
need. One of the most prominent today is clearly the automotive industry
that uses a wide variety of machines to carry out the assembly of the parts of the
vehicle.
The classes of industrial machinery that are commonly used in
the industry
Now that the concept of industrial machine has been discussed, it is time to talk about its
classes. In this case, we can find a great variety regarding their traits and
operation, but to start and in general, you should know that in terms of matter there is
two classes.
The first of these is light industrial machinery, which is characterized by taking care of
to carry out processes that are small. A good example is welding machines.
The second class is heavy machinery, which is used for activities or processes.
much more complex and that require greater strength. Among them are the machines
for agricultural use, as well as the large metal foundries.
The types of industrial machinery are electrical, hydraulic, thermal, and robotic arm, these are 4
very well-known types.

Electric industrial machinery

This type of machine uses kinetic energy in order to transform it into another.
energy. Within it, we can find three classes or groups. The first is machines
generators, then there are the transformers and finally we can find the motors.
In the case of generators, they perform their action by transforming mechanical energy into
electric, the motors convert electric to mechanical and the converters only change the
Characteristics of the energy used. Transformers and converters maintain the form of the
energy, but they transform their characteristics.
Examples of them are bombs, welders, and even the simplest ones like polishers or cutters.

2. Hydraulic industrial machinery

This type of machine works by taking advantage of fluids.
Although this type of machine is not as popular as the previous one, it must be acknowledged that in

In some industries, its use is fundamental.

Similarly, they often perform heavy tasks, which places them within the class of
heavy machinery.
As for their operation, you should know that hydraulic industrial machines are
those that operate through the production of kinetic energy. To achieve this, it increases
the flow of a fluid to displace air from one area to another.
Examples of them are excavators, cranes, and molding machines.

3. The thermal type industrial machinery

Thermal machinery currently performs really important work in different areas.
industries. Now, and although they are not easily recognized, you should know that many of
These machines are in use, for example, in transportation systems.
Likewise, this type of machine is widely used in those processes where the products
They must be kept in a refrigerated state.
Examples of them are foundries, glass bottlers, ovens for cooking, and
including in vehicle engines.
4. Industrial machinery of robotic arm
These machines are very easy to recognize and one of their most characteristic features is that

what stands out is clearly his robotic arm.

This type of machinery is mainly used in production processes that require
transport of parts from one point to another. That's why it's common to find them arranged in

different sections of the conveyor belts.

In these processes while the belt transports a certain element, which is located in
manufacturing state, the machine with a robotic arm applies some element or
aspect of work.
Inside these machines, we find, for example, the equipment used to weld parts,
to locate components, there are also machines responsible for arranging the screws,
paint, polish, among others.
In addition to the above, it should be considered that this machinery is widely used in the industry.

electronics, since it offers greater benefits and performs actions that are difficult for humans to.
makes it impossible to do with precision or greater speed.
Conclusion

Machines make industrial work simpler, practical, and more economical for the
organization that employs them. It is a way to do work that is efficient, effective, and successful.
With this technique, different objectives have been achieved with greater accuracy and precision.
