Critical Infrastructure & Recommendations
- CRANES:
• Main EOT crane (20 t) covering winding, assembly and testing lanes (central span across top).
• Heavy lifting crane (recommended 63–80 t EOT or mobile gantry) in fabrication bay near 63 t press and tank
fabrication for handling large cores/tanks for 2000–5000 kVA units.
• Jib cranes 0.5–2 t at winding and finishing benches.

- FOUNDATIONS:
• 63 t press requires a dedicated reinforced concrete foundation sized per supplier drawings; expect point loads
in the order of several 100s of kN — engage structural engineer.
• Plasma cutter and bending machine require anchored foundations/plates and fume extraction mounts.

- UTILITIES:
• Power: Dedicated 3ϕ panels for high-power machines (press, plasma, vacuum dryer). Consider 400–630 A
switchboard capacity overall; verify per machine nameplate.
• Compressed air: 6–8 bar with receiver capacity; plasma & shearing may need high flow.
• Ventilation & extraction: Plasma cutter and welding zones require local fume extraction and blast booth
ventilation.
• Oil filtration skid and storage near vacuum/oil fill to minimize transfer piping length.

- SAFETY & ACCESS:

• Maintain minimum 1.2–1.5 m clear aisles for pedestrian movement; 3–4 m for forklift/crane travel lanes.
• Emergency exits and spill containment near oil area.
• HV testing bay must have interlocks, clear barricades and dedicated earth mat.

- WORKFLOW NOTES:
• Place winding machines together in-line for efficient material flow and shared tooling.
• Keep vacuum dryer adjacent to winding area to shorten transfer time.
• Heavy fabrication and press near tank fabrication to reduce movement of heavy plates/assemblies.
• Testing, finishing and packing positioned near end of flow with direct access to dispatch.
Recommended Next Steps
Provided these files, adjust if you want different positions or exact machine models; I can re-run placement with
updated footprints.
