Note on Connection Modeling Assumptions:
In the structural model, beam ends are assigned partial (50%)
and full (100%) fixity, resulting in negative moments at column
supports. However, the reinforcement drawings do not show
top reinforcement continuing over the column at the relevant
support location. This raises a concern about how the assumed
fixity—and thus the moment capacity at the support—is being
achieved in practice. Without proper top reinforcement, the
Calculation connection cannot realistically provide the rigidity assumed in

while in case of simply supported beams , the lateral system
will be cantilever column which will affect the slenderness of
the column as the effective length will be doubled, drift and
design moment will increase.

Kindly provide a representative case where the structural

drawings and corresponding calculations clearly match and
support one another.

The section submitted by the contractor is not feasible from an

electrical operational standpoint due to the following issues:
UCC871-UCC - 1- The MV cable is proposed to be installed on a cable ladder
SD -STR -OW beneath the LV cable ladder. This arrangement will restrict
12 open
-GF -DT - access to inspect or replace the MV cable without dismantling
0401 the LV layer above , our proposal to use the same criteria used
in ITHAFUSHI to be installed inside conduits .

The section submitted by the contractor is not feasible from an

electrical operational standpoint due to the following issues:
UCC871-UCC -
2- The significant overlap between the lower and upper cable
SD -STR -OW
13 layers further hinders accessibility, making it difficult to check open
-GF -DT -
or replace the lower cables without removing the upper ones ,
0401
our proposal make significant overlap around 350mm to
change the cables in lower level easily .
