OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
❖ ZUMBA DANCE (every afternoon before the event will start)
The students will participate in this activity together with the teacher.
❖ SPELLING BEE (WEEK 1)
The student must first say the word out loud, then spell the word clearly, and then say the word again. For
instance, when presented with the word "school," the student is required to pronounce it as "Bee." B-E-E,
Bee.”. By first repeating the word, the student lets the judges know he or she correctly heard the word.
❖ QUIZ BOWL (WEEK 1)
Team members may buzz in at any time, but no more than 5 seconds after the question is read and displayed
will be given for either team to buzz in. The first team to buzz in will be given 10 seconds to answer the
question. If the answer is correct, the team will win. If the answer is incorrect, the other team will win.
❖ TONGUE TWISTER (WEEK 2)
During the game, pairs of students must repeat tongue twisters together as closely as possible without
making mistakes. Students are scored on pronunciation, volume, and speed. The pair with the highest score
after completing tongue twisters at all three difficulty levels wins.
❖ JIGSAW PUZZLE (WEEK 2)
Pick the picture of the puzzle you want to complete. Pick the number of pieces. The fewer the pieces, the
easier. Move the pieces to the correct spot in the puzzle.
❖ ACROSTIC DEFINITION GAME (WEEK 3)
Students will create words and definitions using the letters of a given word, reinforcing vocabulary and
teamwork.
❖ POSTER AND SLOGAN MAKING ACTIVITY (WEEK 3)
Students will create a poster with a slogan that effectively conveys a message about a given theme. This
activity encourages creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills.
❖ CHARADE (WEEK 4)
The student picks a word or phrase to act out. The student must then act out the word or phrase. They can
use gestures, facial expressions, and body movements to convey the meaning. No verbal communication is
allowed.
❖ PICTIONARY (WEEK 4)
Each student takes turns drawing a card and attempting to draw the word or phrase on the card while the
rest of the team attempts to guess what it is. A point is awarded to the team that correctly guesses the
word or phrase.
❖ PINOY HENYO (WEEK 5)
The game involves two students - one asks questions while the other can only answer yes, no or can be. The
questioner tries to guess the secret word in 2 minutes without using body language. Common categories for
guessing include person, animal, place, food and thing.
❖ ESSAY MAKING (20 mins/150 words) (WEEK 5)
Students will write an essay about the given topic, or they can choose their own topics. In 20 minutes, they
should use at least 150 words.
❖ WORD CHAIN (WEEK 6)
Each student takes turns saying a word that begins with the last letter of the previous word. For example,
if one student says "apple," the next player must say a word starting with "e," such as "elephant." The game
continues until a player cannot think of a word. Students can be eliminated if they repeat a word or fail to
respond within 5 seconds.
❖ GUESS THE WORD (WEEK 6)
A student picks a card with a word and describes it without saying the word itself. The other students must
guess the word based on the description. For example, if the word is "library," the player might say, "A quiet
place with many books." Points are awarded for each correct guess.
❖ STORY RELAY (WEEK 7)
Students work together to create a story. The first student begins with one or two sentences, such as,
"Once upon a time, there was a curious cat." The next player adds to the story with their sentences. The
game continues until all students have contributed. Judges score creativity, grammar, and coherence.
❖ WORD SCRAMBLE (WEEK 7)
Students are given scrambled words, such as "lelho" for "hello." Each student or team has 2 minutes to
unscramble as many words as possible. Words can be tailored to vocabulary levels, and the team with the
most correct answers wins.
❖ DIRECTED DRAWING ACTIVITY-DIRECTIONS (WEEK 8)
Students will listen carefully to the teacher's instructions and draw based on what they hear to create a
specific picture.
❖ SING THE MISSING WORD (WEEK 8)
Students will improve their listening skills, vocabulary, and pronunciation by filling in missing lyrics from a
song. Students listen to a song and fill in the missing words by singing them at the right time.
