Since 1931, St George's College has provided a supportive and vibrant residential experience filled with
growth and opportunity. St George's College is the oldest residential college at the University of Western
Australia, located directly opposite UWA between the Swan River and Kings Park. Our original buildings
and chapel represent one of the most important precincts of historical buildings in Western Australia,
framed by heritage-listed gardens.

Crawley Village
Crawley Village caters to postgraduate PhD students as a priority, including couples and families. It is a
collective group of 250 residential houses, units, and studio apartments owned and operated by UWA's
Property Management Team at Campus Management.

Consider Suburban Areas:
Accommodation in city centers can be expensive, so students might consider looking for options in
suburban areas that are well-connected to the university by public transport. This can help reduce rental
costs while still providing easy access to campus. Joint venture of government and university to find
suitable area for students in suburban area where the housing are only for students.
Joint venture with the real state
The university can work with real state managers /owners to solve housing crises for students, especially
for international students. They can consider a minimum threshold of student earnings per week and
accordingly fix the rents and bills (not considering the current market rate). This way, there will be more
apartments available. The apartments can have multiple bedrooms where students can stay combined.
