If you have been in a situation or have considered a person already helpless,

drug addict or with a person from the street, or even people who only talk to complain
no one even wants to run into her... a person whose life is totally wrecked, without clothes, without
house, without family...
In the previous passage, the Lord showed his power by saving his disciples from the
physical forces of nature, but these physical forces are not the only ones

There are also spiritual powers that seek the destruction of man:(Ef
6:11-12Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm
against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood

the darkness of this century, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the regions
celestial.
So, the story will take us from the description of the furious sea to a
fierce and untameable man who was possessed by a legion of demons. And he
what is going to make us notice is that the Lord Jesus Christ has full dominion over

v.26. The region they arrived in was that of the Gadarenes. GadaraI was in territory

scattered throughout the region, it can generally be said that it was a territory
kind. Their cities were essentially Greek: they had their Greek gods, their
Greek temples and their Greek amphitheaters; they were dedicated in the manner

being this an animal prohibited for the Jews, it reminds us that the influence
paganism was very strong in this region.

satanic forces, the Holy Spirit frees men from sin, develops
his personality and dignity and increases his self-control.
Talk about a life without control, being tied to something, enslaved by Satan, tormented people.
I think about the people who are in self-help programs. When an addict
arrives at a clinic, agency, or hospital, the objective is to isolate or detach that person from their
addiction. These programs aim to distance people from the outside to separate them from their
addiction. But every program that is based on a person enslaved by drugs

they are destroying life.
They wanted a temporary home so that when the pigs were slaughtered the
spirits could leap over other people.
The Bible says that God has given us all power and authority over the enemy to cast out
demons and unclean spirits. Although Jesus said "this kind" goes out only when
we fast and pray.
1.- Our battle against unclean spirits will continue until
Christ returns. And each day will become more fierce as the devil who is very
angry, increases its seductions over humanity in these last ones
times. We see this incessant battle taking place across the New
Testament. Everywhere Christ and the apostles went, they expelled
unclean spirits.
Number one, we are not committed to fasting and praying, as Jesus asks.

Countless multitudes continue to prefer Christ far from them for fear that

The true missionary activity begins at home. It is not coherent to do
great efforts in favor of the evangelization of other parts of the world
while we neglect the Christian education of our own children,
for example.
The demon-possessed man of Gadara challenges us to two things. First, to experience the profound change that
God brings to the lives of people. Second, to bear witness to the reality of that change in
our environment, among ours.
