yet another exciting edition — TechFest
3.0. Organized by the Department of
Computer Science at St. Kabir Indian
International School, Chapad, Vadodara,
this event is a celebration of innovation,
creativity, and technical prowess.

platform where young innovators can

and tools to create a short film on a given theme. From scripting to

Technology is evolving every day—are you keeping up? This quiz is
designed to challenge students with thought-provoking questions on
AI (Artificial Intelligence). Compete, learn, and showcase your passion
for technology in this thrilling quiz challenge.
Doodle Your Story
Sci-Fi Imagination

To inspire students to use AI-powered creativity and design


futuristic, sci-fi themed doodles that reflect innovation and
imagination.

Eligibility :
Open to students of Grades 6–8.
Participation will be in teams of two members.
Only one team per school will be permitted.

Competition Format :

Participants must create a sci-fi themed doodle using Canva.


The doodle should be saved in JPEG/PNG format.
Title/Caption (max 10 words) must be given for the doodle.

Rules & Regulations :

Doodles must be created exclusively using AI tools mentioned.


Originality is a must – direct downloads or copied designs will not be accepted.
No offensive, violent, or inappropriate visuals allowed.
No Plagiarism accepted for Title/Caption.

Judging Criteria :

Creativity & Originality of Artwork – 5 marks


Use of AI Tools & Visual Appeal – 5 marks
Storytelling (Clarity, Flow, Imagination) – 5 marks
Overall Impact & Engagement – 5 marks
Short Film Making
Where Creativity Meets Artificial Intelligence.
To inspire students to explore technology-driven solutions and
creatively express their ideas through short films, while
enhancing their digital storytelling and video editing skills.

Eligibility :

Open to students of Grades 6–8.


Participation will be in teams of two members.
Only one team per school will be permitted.

Competition Format :

A common theme will be provided to all participants on the spot.


Students will be allowed to use only Canva as the digital design tool for this competition.
Completed films must be submitted in a standard format (e.g., MP4)
Short film should be 1–2 minutes long.

Rules & Regulations :

The design must be original and created only by the participant.


AI-generated images can be used but must be creatively edited or customized by the
student.
Content should be age-appropriate and free from offensive material.
A title/caption (max 10 words) must be given.

Judging Criteria :

Creativity & Originality – 5 marks


Relevance to Theme -5 marks
Design & Visual Appeal – 5 marks
Clarity of Message – 5 marks
CodeStorm
Where ideas strike like lightning

CodeStorm is a thrilling coding competition


where students showcase their creativity and
problem-solving skills.

No-Code Platforms (e.g., Scratch, MIT App Inventor,
HTML/CSS, etc.)

Eligibility :

Open to students of Grades 6-8 & 9–12.


Participation will be in teams of two members

Judging Criteria :

Innovation & Creativity – 5 marks


Technical Implementation – 5 marks
Practicality & Impact – 5 marks
Presentation & Teamwork – 5 marks

Competition Format :

Prototype Development:
Teams will develop a working prototype using the chosen tool
on the topic given on the spot.
Duration: 2 hours .
Presentation of prototype before judges (5 minutes per team).
TED Talk
Ideas That Spark Change
The TED Talk Competition is a creative platform
where participants present a 5–7-minute talk on
thought-provoking themes such as:

Theme :

Participants can select any one of the following themes:


1. How Technology Will Shape Your Future Careers
2. AI & Human Creativity
3. How AI is Changing Classrooms

Eligibility :

Open to students of Grades 9–12.


Participation will be in teams of two members

Format & Duration :


Each talk should be 5-7 minutes long.
Participants with both speakers can engage in a
conversational style.
The content must be original, well-researched, and engaging.

Judging Criteria :
Relevance to Theme (5 marks)
Content Quality & Originality (5 marks)
Clarity & Delivery (5 marks)
Creativity & Engagement (5 marks)

General Rules :
Talk must be done in English ONLY
Participants should avoid sensitive or offensive content.
Shark Tank Pitch
Diving Deep into Ideas,
Surfacing Tomorrow’s Tech
To provide a platform for students to present innovative tech-
based start-up ideas, develop entrepreneurial thinking, and
showcase creativity, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Eligibility :

Open to students of Grades 9–12.


Participation in teams of 3 members.

Competition Format :

Pitch Presentation:
Each team presents their start-up idea in front of a panel of judges (“Sharks”).
Duration: 5 minutes pitch + 3 minutes Q&A.
Format may include:
Problem Statement
Innovative Solution
Target Audience & Market Potential
Technology Involved
Business Model (basic revenue idea/cost feasibility)
Prototype/Demo (optional, if applicable)

Rules & Regulations :

Ideas must be original and tech-based (e.g., apps, AI tools, IoT solutions, ed-tech platforms).
Teams must prepare a short PPT/visual aid (max 6–8 slides).
Plagiarized or unrealistic submissions will lead to disqualification.
Any offensive or inappropriate content is not allowed.

Judging Criteria :

Creativity & Innovation of Idea – 5 marks


Feasibility & Practicality – 5 marks
Clarity of Pitch & Presentation Skills – 5 marks
Teamwork & Q&A Handling – 5 marks
Technical Quiz
Battle of the Intelligences: Human vs AI

Theme :

Quiz will be based on AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Structure of the Quiz:

Preliminary Round (Written Round):


Duration: 20 Minutes
Format: Multiple Choice Questions
Final Round (On-Stage):
Top 4 teams will qualify for the Final Round.
The quiz will be conducted in front of a live audience.
Includes different sections such as Direct Questions, Buzzer Round, Rapid
Fire, and Visuals.
Each round will carry specific marks.
The decision of the quizmaster and judges will be final.

Team Composition :

Open to students of Grades 9–12.


Participation will be in teams of 4 members.
Only one team per school will be permitted.

Rules & Regulations :

Use of mobile phones, smart devices, or reference material is strictly


prohibited.
Audience/Supporters are strictly prohibited from providing any hints, prompts,
or clues to the participants during the quiz.
In case of a tie, an additional set of questions will be asked to decide the
winner.
The decision of the quizmaster and judges will be final.
General Guidelines

All the events will be held on 9th October 2025.

Participants are not allowed to take part in more than one event.

Participants must not reveal the name of their school while introducing themselves
during the event. However they must carry their school identity card for registration.

Participants must abide by the eligibility criteria set for each event.

Participants will wear jeans and white shirt/t-shirt (decent).

Participants must adhere to the time limit.

The decision of the judges will be final.
