This document replaces GB/T 10599-2010 Multi-rope mining friction hoist. In addition to
structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have
been made with respect GB/T 10599-2010:

a) The product model preparation method has been changed (see 4.2 hereof; 3.2 of
Edition 2010);

b) The main technical parameters of product have been changed (see 4.3 hereof; 3.3 of
Edition 2010);

c) The technical requirements for parts of parts and components have been changed
(see Clause 5 hereof; Clause 4 of Edition 2010);

d) The product test method has been changed (see Clause 6 hereof; Clause 5 of Edition
2010);

e) The product inspection rules have been changed (see Clause 7 hereof; Clause 6 of
Edition 2010).

f) The requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, storage and maintenance

have been changed (see Clause 8 hereof; Clause 7 of Edition 2010).

Multi-rope friction hoist

1 Scope

This document specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and maintenance
of multi-rope friction hoist.

This document is applicable to the multi-rope friction hoist installed in the shaft of coal
mine, metal mine and non-metal mine, which lifts personnel, materials and equipment in
the environment without explosive gas and dust.
