30mm EDF & 90mm Prop Micro Cruise Jets

Cable Release Plug - assembly and use for automatic wing release

Our Micro cruisers can use both a servo or Release


Plug to operate the wing opening mechanism.

If you wish to save weight and have a wing release


occur at a pre-determined moment, the string
attached wing Release Plug can be used.

Select a strong but light string or cord and tie it to


the Release Plug.

Establish a length at which you wish the wings ot


be released and tie the other end of the string /
cord to the release pylon through the holes at the
rear of the part as shown below.

For take off, ensure you stow the excess cord neatly
and in a way that does not tangle.

Micro Cruiser can now be dropped, and at the given


length of cord, the Release Plug will deploy the
wings automatically.
