Mental Health Matters
One’s healthy mind is an essential component of a healthy
body and a healthy lifestyle. It has an effect on the way that we
think, feel, and behave. The state of our mental health is a
significant factor in how we deal with pressure, interpersonal
conflicts, and unexpected events.
In connection with this, some of the teachers and learners
experienced a problem when it comes to their mental health. In
case of the teachers, they are being overwhelmed by the bunch
of work load and the obstacles they have encountered not only in
teaching but in other aspects of their lives. On the other hand, the
learners also deal with mental health problems because they
can’t escape the challenges and trials that they have encountered
not only in their studies but also their issues and problems inside
their family or friend.
Activities geared at the emotional health and well-being of
educators should be comprehensive and continuous.
Incorporating self-care practices into a teacher’s and learners
daily routine, such as going for a run, spending time with friends,
and establishing healthy boundaries around their job and studies
may help educators and learners to enhance and sustain their
own personal wellness.
It is of the utmost importance that we take care of our
mental health since it may have an impact on every facet of our
life, from the connections we have with our close friends and
relatives to the efficiency with which we do our responsibilities at
work or at school.
In fact, mental wellness is important. If you are a teacher
and you have seen that your students are going through anything
difficult, you should attempt to talk to them and provide them
some comfort. They would appreciate it very much if you could
give them the impression that they are not alone. If, on the other
hand, you are a student and you have noticed that your teacher is
going through a difficult time, expressing to them that you care
and making them feel as if they are loved absolutely matters to
them.
