Why do you want to study further?

There are two main reasons why I want to study abroad. First and foremost, I aim to expand my
knowledge, particularly in areas that will help me grow my businesses. Currently, I run two businesses
and have a strong desire to take them to the next level. To achieve this, I know the importance of
gaining in-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, global business practices, and innovative growth
techniques. These things can only be got if I will study further.

Secondly, the reason is income. I am earning nearly 6 lakhs from business and current job which I think
is not up to the mark. After doing further education and getting knowledge, I will earn nearly 10-11 lakhs
per annum. So, these are the reasons that I want to study further.

I need 120 ECTS.

I will complete these by appearing for the exams, providing presentations, projects and fulfilling the
attendance requirements.

What subjects will u study:

In the first year, I will learn how to use strategic management tools to improve business performance. I
will also learn how to manage and assess changes by using forecasting methods. Additionally, I will study
how to manage innovation and apply methods that will help me successfully grow and maintain my
business in the long run.

In the second year, I will gain skills in financial management and attracting investment. I will have the
chance to study topics like EU support for entrepreneurship, using business models, and measuring the
efficiency of business processes. This will help me gain the skills needed to succeed in the international
market.

What were your roles and duties as a Digital Marketing Trainer?

 Design Curriculum – Develop and update training content based on current industry trends.
 Deliver Training – Conduct sessions on SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and more
(online or offline).
 Hands-On Practice – Guide learners through real tools like Google Ads, Analytics, and social
media platforms.
 Assess & Evaluate – Create quizzes, projects, and provide feedback to track learner progress.
 Mentor Learners – Offer individual support, career guidance, and help with certification prep.
 Stay Updated – Keep pace with digital marketing trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
 Collaborate – Work with institutes or businesses to tailor training programs.
What are your roles and duties as an Assistant Manager?

 Support Management – Assist the manager in daily operations and decision-making.

 Team Supervision – Oversee staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure productivity.
 Customer Service – Handle customer issues and ensure a high level of service.
 Operational Oversight – Monitor inventory, scheduling, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
 Training & Development – Help onboard and train new employees.
 Performance Monitoring – Track KPIs and help implement improvements.
 Problem Solving – Address day-to-day challenges and support issue resolution.

Why do you want to go to Latvia, why not any other European country? Why only Latvia?

Latvia provides quality education at a very affordable price. The cost of living is also very reasonable, it
just costs around 400-700 euros/month. Studying in a European country will be a huge advantage for my
career as it would help me with a globally recognized degree which would be accepted by all
governments worldwide. It would even provide opportunities for my professional growth and ever
valuable international experience.

What do you know about Riga?

Riga is the oldest city and the capital of Latvia. It is situated on the banks of Daugava River. Riga is not
only the keystone of the Latvian economy, but also a renowned center of education and science. It is
famous as the chief industrial, business, cultural, sport and finance center in the Baltic States and also is
proud of its ancient history, unique architecture and high quality cultural activities. It is evidenced by
numerous cultural events, international exhibitions, scientific conferences and seminars that take place
in Riga annually.

What are the facilities provided by Turiba University?

Turība University is located in Riga, one of the most charming capital cities in Europe that is proud of its
clean and secure environment, convenient infrastructure and rich architecture. Turība University
campus provides progressive environment, well-organized infrastructure, well-equipped student
housing facilities from which it is possible to get to the classes in few minutes, spacious library,
convenient car and bicycle parking space, hairdressing salon, ample space with free Wi-Fi, and choice of
several places where to have a meal. Everything you need every day - from a mall to a fitness center - is
just a few minutes’ walk from the campus.

I would really like to go back to my own country and serve my nation in the best possible way. I would
like to study and enhance my skills by attaining education from your renowned institution but my aim
would remain to return to my own country India.
If given an opportunity to work in Latvia while pursuing your education what will you do?

No, I won't be working while pursuing my education from Latvia as my only aim is to achieve good
education from abroad and therefore my entire focus is on my career. Also, my sponsor has sufficient
funds to support and stay and education in Latvia, so there is no need for me to do any sort of part time
job.

Have you compared it with other universities in Latvia?

Yes, I have compared Turiba University with the other universities in Latvia like Riseba university of
applied sciences and Riga Technical University. Although both of these universities are highly reputed
and have a world class education system, however, I found out that RTU has a specialization only in the
science based programmes and Riseba university on the other hand offers courses with relatively high
fee structure. This made Turiba University an ideal choice.

What would you do during your summer or winter vacations?

I would really like to go back to my own home country India as I would be feeling homesick and would
love to meet my family, friends and relatives. Or maybe I would travel across Europe in order to explore
and know more about its culture and traditions.

Do you think your selected course links with your previous studies?

Earlier, I have completed my graduation and started working in 2019, since then I worked on 2 job roles
and realized that I should continue my education so that I can work in a high profile company at a good
job position. Moreover, because of my previous job, I am aware of some of the business skills and
techniques but to get a successful career I need to develop my skills so I want to begin my master
studies in business administration course.
