The word MATHEMATICS has 2Ms,2Ts,2As and 1 each of H, E, I, C and S.
Thus 4 letters can be chosen in 3 ways.
Case I. 2 alike of one kind and 2 alike of the second kind.

Read the following passage and answer the questions given below

A tea party is arranged for 16 players, which include 5 bowlers and 2 wicketkeepers, along two sides of
a long table with 8 chairs on each side. Four player desire to sit on one particular side and two others on
other side of the table.
(i) Find the number of ways in which the seating arrangement can be made (answer in factorial
notation)
(ii) In how many ways can a team of 11 players be selected from these 16 players if each team of 11
must include exactly 3 bowlers and one wicketkeeper?
(iii) Once selected, in how many ways, can we now choose a captain and a vice captain from the team
of 11 assuming one person can not hold more than one position?
