Topic: The passion of Christ for the Harvest

Text: Luke 14:15-23

Highlights:

 God has made a great provision ready for all kinds of lost Souls.
 The passion of Christ for the harvest is that his servants go to all the streets and compel all lost
Souls to come into his kingdom that his house be filled (V23).
 God needs to give us (his servants) unquenchable hunger for lost Souls. Such that our eyes will
open to see all the lost Souls God sees.
 Luke 15:1-2(NIV); “Now the tax collectors and "sinners" were all gathering around to hear
him.” God will do a great thing in this move. He will draw lost Souls to hear Jesus as we go out
to minister the gospel unto men.
 Luke 15:3-7(NIV);
“Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one
of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep
until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home.
Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my
lost sheep.' 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one
sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” This is
also the passion of Christ for lost Souls. He is determined to search out even one lost soul with
all his resources. God demands my commitment to the salvation of this kind of hidden lost
souls.
 Luke 15:13(NIV);
"Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and
there squandered his wealth in wild living. “God demands all his lost sons in the far Country
shall return Home. The far country is any place that is not God’s presence and domain. These
lost sons don’t only spend God’s resources and grace; they also spend themselves. The enemy
sent the prodigal son to feed the swine and feed of their feeds [The extent to which sinners go
deep in darkness to make money for living these days is quiet alarming].
 Luke 15:20-24(NIV);
“20 So he got up and went to his father. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw
him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and
kissed him. 21 "The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I
am no longer worthy to be called your son.' 22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Quick!
Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring
the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead
and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. “
 I must pray not to behave like the elder brother of the prodigal son. Though he didn’t depart
to far country yet he couldn’t see the passion of the Father for his lost brother. He didn’t know
the size of the largeness of his father’s heart to accommodate lost souls in his kingdom.

1
 If all the Harlots, wayward youths and Cultists decide to come to Jesus today; there is still yet
room for them. His blood yet cleanses sins and makes white as snow the heart of the great
sinner.
 In this meeting; God will not only harvest my life, He will also make me a fisher of men for his
kingdom.
Prayer:

Lord makes me passionate for lost souls as you are. Give me passion for your
harvest.

Text: Job 2:1-10(NKJV)
OIA:
 Job 2:9(NKJV)
“Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and
die!" …<OIA>I perceive that Job’s wife had opened her heart for Satan to enter her and
speak foolishly through her to Job. This is because her message was exactly the
message of Satan before God in heaven which he contends for. Perhaps, this is why
the enemy spared Job’s wife so that he could use her as his closet agent to Job to
pass his message quickly. I must not only guard my heart always against receiving
devil or his thoughts but also against what the enemy may say through those very
close to me.
 Job 2:10(NKJV)
“But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed
accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin
with his lips.” …<OIA> I observed that Job knew the wisdom to speak to his wife at the
exact time Satan was using her to speak to Job. First; Job expressed the concept that
all that comes to God’s faithful children is from Him i.e. God would authorize it’s
release in heaven whether it be good or adversity. So, God’s faithful children are
always in God’s hand not Satan. This means that as God has given us the privilege to
also present ourselves before Him in prayer (Ex.32:2; Lk.2:22; Rom.6:13), we can ask
of Him the good things and even to reverse any adversity on our path. When the
enemy struck James and also came to strike Peter also; the Church had to present
themselves before God to ask for Peter’s life to be spared and the Lord granted their
request. It will not be good that only the enemy goes to present himself before God
to make his request over us and we don’t also go even before him to dwell there in
the presence of our father. A:I see that God is calling me to His dwelling place where
He grants the desires of the righteous to over rule the earth in a time like this.

Topic: The passion of Christ for the Harvest

Text: Mark 4:26-29 (GNBUK)

Highlights:

 Normally man does not understand the how of the growth of God’s kingdom. Once
the seed has been properly planted; at the time of harvest God’s kingdom grows.
Hence it not for me to worry how it will grow but to be committed and be
responsible in planting the seed that causes God’s kingdom to grow at the time of
harvest.
 The growth of God’s kingdom is seasonal or timed according to God’s time of
harvest. And God normally sits to watch over his word to see that it’s fulfilled
according to his determinant purpose or plan. Gal 4:4-5(NKJV); “But when the
fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under
the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the
adoption as sons.”

Text: Job 2:1-10(NKJV)
OIA:
 Job 2:13(NKJV)
“So they sat down with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one
spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief was very great.” ……<OIA> This is a
good way to begin mourning with a friend close to your heart. You will be in the
same spirit of grief with him having the same expression and lacking words to
address the situation. So were Job’s friends for seven days. They didn’t start talking
without self-control or begin to cry uncontrollably such that makes the condition
painful rather than comforting. This essence of mourning with a close friend is to
bring comfort not more pain. Hence when am compassed by problems of this life
left and right; then I must lean on the everlasting arms of my savior whose Spirit has
ever been so nearer than a closest friend would be. His comfort at most painful
moment is a great treasure everyone can have. P: Teach me Lord to ever lean on your
everlasting arms whether
there be pain or not.

Topic: The Harvest; Jesus’ Perspective
Text: Mathew 9:35-37(NKJV)
Highlights:
 Matt 9:36-37(NKJV)
“Because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” …

 Matt 11:28-29 (NKJV)

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” …

 Eph 2:11-13(NKJV)
“Therefore, remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh — who are called
Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands — 12
that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of
Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without
God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been
brought near by the blood of Christ.”

 Matt 12:43-45(NKJV)
43 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking
rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes
and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and
dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be
with this wicked generation." …Souls of men Jesus died for and redeemed by His
Blood; have become the house of Satan and Demons. So they behave the way they
do because they’ve been captured and captivated the evil one.

 Luke 11:14-26(NKJV)
“14 Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man
who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed. 15 But some of them said,
"By Beelzebub, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons." 16 Others tested
him by asking for a sign from heaven. 17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to
them: "Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against
itself will fall. 18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say
this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub. 19 Now if I drive out
demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they
will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the
kingdom of God has come to you. 21 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his

4
own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and
overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up
the spoils. 23 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather
with me, scatters. 24 "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid
places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.'
25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes
and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there.
And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."

 John 4:35-36(NKJV)
 “35 Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'?
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already
white for harvest! “

Prayer:

Lord opens my eyes to see the souls of men as you see them and be
compassionate for them as you are.

Text: Job 3:1-10(NKJV)
OIA:
 Q: Am wondering why Job would have to curse the day he was born as if the day
was a person to feel pain of a curse? But this shows that Job was filled with
much sorrows and longs to release his heavy heart. This means I have to be very
careful not to speak when am full of sorrows because one might be cursing
instead of blessing. Besides the day Job was born wasn’t the cause of Job’s
pains. It was the Devil. And for Job not to have cursed Satan means that he
wasn’t conscious of the Devil and perhaps he has respect for heavenly beings.
What filled Job’s mind wasn’t the Devil; it was the knowledge of God and His
creation. So what his mind revolves on was what pushes his inner heart to speak
on.
Prayer:
O Lord help me not to speak in anger or a heart full of deep sorrows
and then curse rather than bless.

Topic: Communion with the Lord of the Harvest
Text: Mark 1:35; Psalm 114:1-7;105 (NKJV)
Highlights:
 The secret of moving along with the Lord of the harvest in gathering souls into his barns lies in
SEEKING HIM DAILY AND EARLY.

5
 I need to cultivate the life of waking up morning by morning to commune with the Lord and be
transformed daily by His Words of eternal life.

Message 4/07-12-24
Topic: The Equipment for the Harvest
Text: Acts 2 (NKJV)
Highlights:
 The equipment for the harvest is the Holy Ghost and His Power.
 When one has been equipped with the Holy Ghost; he engages in a Mechanized Harvest
of Souls rather than one done without the Power of the Holy ghost. Such it’s normally
organized and structured by man with a minimal output.

 Luke 4:16-22
“He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went
into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. 17 The scroll of the
prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: 18
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to
the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for
the blind,to release the oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." 20
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of
everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, 21 and he began by saying to them,
"Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." 22 All spoke well of him and were
amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" they
asked. “…. when the Holy Spirit comes you will know [Jesus knew something had
happened when people looked on him instead of looking at the Priest in charge] and
what used to be difficult becomes easy.

 Ps 114:2-4
“Judah became God's sanctuary, Israel his dominion. 3 The sea looked and fled, the
Jordan turned back; 4 the mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. “The main
objective of the release of his Spirit is that Men becomes God's sanctuary. What did the
sea saw and fled? The sea must have seen not an ordinary Judah but a Judah with the
Lion of it’s Tribe. As we are being filled in this day of harvest; the world will see us and
see the Lord of harvest and bow. It is carrying the Spirit and Power makes the
mechanized harvest.

 As we cry for the filling of the Holy ghost and still be filled with the flesh; God will
wonder INTO WHAT WILL HE FILL US? So, if am not emptied of flesh of any kind then
God cannot fill me with the Holy Ghost.
 The problem of poor harvest of souls is not our weakness but our carnalities which we
cry first to God to evacuate before there would be space for the filling of His Spirit and
Power.

6
 When the Holy Spirit comes on us; he flows through us using the instrumentality of the
Word of God to change the lives of men that hear us speak [Acts 2].

 The power of God that follows the filling of the Holy ghost is not arbitrary. It is the power
of God that flows through his word. It is by the words of command that every miracle is
done. Also, Peter’s shadow wouldn’t have cast out demons and healed the sick; if the
word of God is not active in his life thereby causing the presence of the Holy ghost to
overflow touching lives as he walks by. His word does not joke with sinners; it’s God’s
harmer that breaks the sinner-man. The Gospel is God’s power for changing lives. So the
holy ghost fills us to speak this gospel and draw MEGA SOULS [mechanized harvest] into
God’s kingdom.

 ‘We can’t start a mechanized farming and return to manual farming.’ The Lord had
started his Church [Acts 2] with mechanized harvest; how can we now in this our
generation return to manual way of harvesting men for the Lord?

Prayer :
Lord cause me to be totally evacuated of the flesh and fully equipped
with your Spirit and Power to be engaged in this harvest of mega souls.
Message 5/07-12-24
Topic: “Put in the Sickle”
Text: Mark 4:29 (NKJV)
Highlights:
 Mark 4:29 (NIV); “As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest
has come." …. Until you put the sickle to it there would be no harvest i.e. without arising
with prompt obedience and preach the Gospel to lost souls and gain them for the kingdom.
Heavens will not celebrate promises or arrangements but actions of faith [the Acts of the
Apostle were not promises or wishes but measurable actions of faith they responded to].
The only response to the command GO is to GO. The unreached land are unreached because
nobody reached them.

 Jonah 1:1-2 (KJV); “Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 2
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up
before me.” …..Jonah’s commission was very clear. We must hear God to know where He’s
sending us to. Then we must not be casual in speaking the Gospel or entertain sinners but
CRY AGAINST them.

 As Jonah agreed to be cast into the sea; is as if he thought is better for him to die rather than
obey God. But when God focuses on a life; He keeps death far from you and still take you His
route to fulfill His purpose on earth. Jonah 3:1-2 (KJV); “And the word of the Lord came unto
Jonah the second time, saying, 2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it
the preaching that I bid thee.”

7
 Jonah 3:3-10 (KJV); “So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the
Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. 4 And Jonah began to
enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall
be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on
sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 6 For word came unto the
king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered
him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published
through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast,
herd nor flock, taste anything: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8 But let man and beast be
covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn everyone from his evil
way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent,
and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? 10 And God saw their works, that
they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he
would do unto them; and he did it not.”

 Jonah 4:11; “And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than six score
thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also
much cattle?”
 Acts 28:30-31; “30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all
that came in unto him, 31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which
concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.” …. Jonah’s story
ended with a question mark while that of Paul ended with an active obedience to God’s
word.
Conclusion:
 “Put in the Sickle and Harvest Souls for Christ.” Throw your life to the Call of God
knowing there is no time, and I must not sleep at this time of Harvest.

SUN. 08-12-2024

Text: Job 3:11-19(NKJV)

OIA:
 Job 3:11-13 (NKJV)
“Why did I not die at birth? Why did I not perish when I came from the womb?
12 Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breasts, that I should nurse? 13
For now I would have lain still and been quiet, I would have been asleep; Then I
would have been at rest.” …. I see that when God allows little ones to die young;
perhaps He is saving them from future calamity and pain that would have made
them regret and curse the day they were born. But those He intends deliberately
to use to make manifest His Glory, He keeps alive. Hence, I must discover from
God His manifold wisdom and follow it. So that I’ll equally be in His Plan and
serve his purpose.

8
 Job 3:16-19 (NKJV)
“Why was I not hidden like a stillborn child, Like infants who never saw light? 17
There the wicked cease from troubling, And there the weary are at rest. 18
There the prisoners rest together; They do not hear the voice of the oppressor.
19 The small and great are there, And the servant is free from his master. “ …. I
see that when life here on earth cease, one enters a state where he has nothing
to do with what goes on here on earth; which is eternity. Since, I will yet be
separated from the earth some day; Q: what manner of life should I live to obtain
a reward in eternity? Shouldn’t I spend all my life in Christ? Why should I labor
for what I will yet live behind to go elsewhere? Definitely, it is not a good
business.
