Objectives

o To introduce teachers to the structured pedagogy programme intended to


transform teaching and learning at the state level.
o To build the capacity of teachers to gain the most effective pedagogical skills
for teaching and assessing learning.
o To improve the ability of teachers to apply structured pedagogy in basic
education as part of the programme’s sustainability plan.
o To guide teachers to self-study the curated lesson plans, teacher guide,
OxTrack, and related resources to improve their capacity to deliver quality
teaching and administer correct assessments.
o To provide a practical guide to teachers on how self-study can support them in mastering
their subject content and move to a learner-centred approach or activity-based teaching.
