2. appreciate Philippine myths and legends (superstitions) by understanding
elements of short story in the play, and (affective)
3. produce a short playback theater performance reflecting their personal
experiences on Philippine superstitions. (pyschomotor)

compared to the inn the union hotel was a
place of productivity. If you are to read the
original text or story of the Rip Van Winkle
the Union hotel is more elaborately described
there.
So the time Rip woke up that was the period
when America was now slowly starting to
build their government. This was the time of
the Birth of the American republic. The time
when America started to emerge from their
rubbles and the remnants of their war with the
British Monarchy.

Now class do you think that the story of Rip
was possible? Did he really sleep for 20
years? No, it was after ma’am.

EVALUATION

Rip was put in a time where he jumped to a

time where no one remembered him. All the
people he once knew we’re either gone or are

You can also interview your parents or maybe
aunts.
