11. A thin straight infinitely long conducting wire of linear charge density ‘𝝀’ is enclosed by a cylindrical
surface of radius ‘r' and length ‘L’. Its axis coinciding with the length of the wire. Obtain the
expression for the electric field, indicating its direction, at a point on the surface of the cylinder.
Draw E and r graph.
12. Derive the expression for electric field at a point due to a thin infinite plane sheet of charge using
Gauss Theorem. Show that E is independent of r.
13. Two infinitely large plane thin parallel sheets having surface charge densities 𝝈𝟏 , and 𝝈𝟐 (𝝈𝟏 > 𝝈𝟐 ).
