The temperature in a hill station was -5°C on Monday morning. During the day, it rose by 3°C. On

Tuesday, it dropped by 7°C, and on Wednesday, it rose again by 4°C.

3. What was the final temperature on Wednesday evening?

Case Study 2: Submarine Dive

A submarine is at a depth of 250 meters below sea level. It ascends 75 meters and then descends

120 meters. Later, it ascends another 40 meters.

2. What is the submarine's depth after it ascends 75 meters?

Case Study 3: School Canteen Orders
