Entry 1: The Power of Critical Thinking
Critical thinking is more than just analyzing information. It is a way to question, compare,
and evaluate ideas before making a decision. In my daily life, I use it when I study, when I
choose what to buy, and even when I listen to people’s opinions. Thinking critically helps us
avoid mistakes and become more responsible citizens.
Entry 2: Media Literacy in the Digital World
Every day we receive information from social media, television, and websites. But not all of
it is true. Media literacy teaches us to recognize fake news, propaganda, or manipulated
images. When we learn to identify reliable sources, we protect ourselves and make better
decisions.
Entry 3: Fake News and Society
Fake news is dangerous because it changes the way people think. Some people believe lies
about politics, health, or social problems. That is why media literacy is essential. If society
develops the habit of checking information, we can create a more informed and safe
community.
Entry 4: Crime in Modern Society
Crime exists in every country. It affects families, communities, and economies. Poverty, lack
of education, and inequality are some of the causes. Understanding these problems with
critical thinking helps us find fair solutions and reduce violence.
Entry 5: Crime and Punishment – A Debate
Is punishment really the best solution to crime? Some people say yes, because punishment
protects society and gives justice. Others say no, because punishment does not always
change behavior. Education, rehabilitation, and prevention can also reduce crime. I believe
both punishment and education should work together.
Entry 6: Media and Crime Representation
Television and newspapers often exaggerate crime. They show shocking stories that create
fear in society. But sometimes the media hides other important issues like education or
health. Media literacy helps us understand that not everything we see on TV is reality.
Entry 7: My Opinion about Justice
Justice must be fair and equal for everyone. Sometimes poor people receive harder
punishments than rich people for similar crimes. This is not real justice. A critical society
should demand equal rights, fair trials, and opportunities to prevent crime from the
beginning.
