Lesson 2

I. Objectives

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

 Identify and say five color words: red, yellow, blue, white, black.
 Ask and answer using the structure: “What color is it?” – “It’s ___.”
 Practice spelling and recognizing color words through competitive team
games.
 Develop cooperative and competitive learning skills.

II. Teaching aids

 Textbook
 Flashcards of 5 colors
 Alphabet letter sets (3 sets – plastic/paper)
 Speakers or CD player
 Worksheets (coloring)
 Reward stickers and mini forfeits (drawn from a box)

III. Procedures

1. Warm-up and Leading (20 mins)

a. Aims:

 Review vocabulary spelling.


 Build excitement and team spirit before new lesson.

b. Content:
Game: “Spell the Color!”

c. Expected outcomes:
Students can spell 14 review words correctly in teams and get motivated for the lesson.

d. Organization:
