1 INTRODUCTION
ONGC intends to develop the NELP block KG-DWN-98/2, in deep waters off the east
coast of India. The KG-DWN-98/2 block is located within 25-40 km of the nearest land-
fall, and is adjacent to RIL’s KG-D6 field and GSPC’s Deendayal field.
As part of the integrated development of the NELP block KG-DWN-98/2, ONGC also
intends to install two new facilities at Odalarevu and Mallavaram.

• Gas from the U field will be processed via subsea tieback to the S1 & Vashishta
Onshore Terminal at Odalarevu. Rich MEG processing and lean MEG injection for
the U-field will be handled by the S1 & Vashishta
Vashishta Onshore Terminal until 2022.
• New Onshore MEG Facility (OMF) will be installed adjacent to Vashishta facility at
Odalarevu; the terminal will have a plant for treating rich mono-ethylene glycol
(MEG) and the associated utilities. It will also have facilities
facilities for incremental
offsite/Utility requirements for existing Vashishta Onshore Terminal.
• New Gas export facility to export the processed gas from CPP is relocated to
Mallavaram OGT from the initially proposed location of Odalarevu OMF. Design
capacity of this facility is to export gas design flow rate of 11.5 MMSCMD from
CPP.
2 PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT
The purpose of this document is to define the minimum requirements for the supply,
design, engineering, fabrication, inspection & testing, transportation and commissioning
of a Diesel Filter Coalescer Package, which is suitable for continuous operation in
outdoor environment facilities in accordance with prevailing industry Codes and
Standards. Where conflict exists on the requirements of the applicable Codes,
Standards and Regulatory requirements, the more stringent requirement shall apply.
Any omission in this requirement shall not relieve the M/s. PETROMAR ENGINEERED
SOLUTIONS Pvt. Ltd of his responsibility to deliver the equipment along with other
associated items, which are complete, of proven design, and conforms to the
Performance Requirements.
