Learning Objective:
To understand how the rotation of the Earth causes day and night.

Material required: Flashlight, Globe, Small ball, Paper & crayons/star stickers, Moon phase chart

Procedure:
Turn off the lights in the room, Place the globe on a table, Shine the flashlight on one side of the globe.
Slowly rotate the globe to show how different parts move in and out of the light.
Explain how this causes day and night.
