ABSTRACT
This dissertation presents the development of a comprehensive HOUSE RENTAL
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM aimed at improving the efficiency and user experience of house
rental processes. This system provides a centralized platform where users can search for
available houses, compare rental prices, and book properties in real-time. Key features
include a user-friendly interface, advanced search filters, secure payment processing, and
customer reviews. The system also offers property managers tools for tenant management,
rental agreements, and payment tracking. By integrating these functionalities, the House
Rental Management System optimizes operational efficiency, reduces errors, and improves
tenant-landlord interactions. The project employs modern web technologies including
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to ensure a responsive and interactive user interface.

Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background:
Property rental management has become a crucial part of the real estate industry, where
efficiency, accuracy, and tenant satisfaction play a significant role in overall success.
Traditional house rental operations often rely on manual processes for agreements, rent
collection, and tenant records, which can lead to delays, errors, and reduced satisfaction. To
overcome these challenges, a computerized House Rental Management System ensures all
operations are handled in a faster, more reliable, and more systematic way.
1.2 Objectives:
The primary objective of the House Rental Management System project is to develop a user-
friendly online platform that simplifies the rental process for tenants while streamlining
property management for landlords. Key objectives include:
- Designing a responsive web portal for tenants to search houses, check availability, and
complete rental agreements.
- Providing an administrator panel for property managers to manage houses, agreements,
tenants, and payments.
- Implementing secure authentication and payment methods.
- Offering efficient rental history tracking, tenant record management, and agreement
documentation.
