Details: ACT Long Service Leave Authority (ACT Leave) is a Statutory Authority of the ACT Government responsible
for the administration of portable long service leave benefit schemes for covered industries within the ACT.
Our vision is to make portable long service leave universally understood and recognised as an important and
accepted part of the employment landscape. Our activities are determined by the Long Service Leave (Portable
Schemes) Act 2009, and we are governed by a Board of Directors appointed under the legislation.
You will be a valued member of the Compliance Team, who are responsible for:
Devising the Compliance Strategy
Executing, recording and reporting of compliance activities that support ACT Leave’s key functions and objectives
Assisting industry employers meet their obligations and to ensure workers are aware of their entitlements under
the legislation by conducting educational activities.
As the Senior Compliance Officer, reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you will conduct site inspections,
employer visits, educational activities, enforcement processes and provide assistance to the Compliance Manager
and the Chief Finance Officer.
Ideally, you will have skills and experience relating to communications with stakeholders (including face-to-face)
from an educational and enforcement approach, compliance inspections, enforcement processes, and assessments
relying on the interpretation and application of law. You will be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with
changing priorities.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of
extension and/or permanency.
A pool will be created from this recruitment process to fill identical vacancies in the next 12 month.

About the Role:
The Division of Surgery is responsible for delivering inpatient and outpatients surgical services The Division includes
Surgical Bookings and Pre-Admission Clinic, Anaesthesia, Pain Management Unit, Operating Theatres, Post-
Anaesthetic Care Unit, Day Surgery Unit, Admissions, Day Procedure Unit, Endoscopy, and specialist surgical ward
areas.
The Perioperative Suite at North Canberra Hospital consists of a Day Surgery Unit, Surgical Admission Lounge (SAL),
7 Operating Theatres, and a procedure room, covering a wide range of surgical specialities, and a Post Anaesthetic
Care Unit (PACU).
Our Specialties include Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, Gynaecological, ENT, Head and Neck, Plastics, Minor Vascular,
General Surgery, Urology, Ophthalmic and Maxillofacial Surgery. The North Canberra Hospital, Operating Suites
service surgical procedures within the area, including referrals from surrounding regions. Our nurses are dynamic
skilled professionals who are responsible for the provision of patient centred evidence-based nursing care for every
patient. Our nursing teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare team supported by the Perioperative
Education Team, Clinical Nurse Consultants and the ADON.
A Registered Nurse with advanced nursing practice skills is required to provide a high level of support consistently
and competently to perioperative staff and patients within North Canberra Hospital and Canberra Health Services.
The Floor coordinator role reports directly to the Scrub/Scout Clinical Nurse Consultant and joins the nursing
leadership team. This position is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day patient flow throughout the
perioperative suite, in collaboration with the Perioperative suite management team, while supporting the wider
multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based nursing care to perioperative patients.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the North Canberra Hospital offers a wide range of experience in O&G with
exposure to the subspecialties of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Urogynaecology. The North Canberra Hospital is the
tertiary referral hospital for the ACT and surrounding region with over 1900 births per year.
The Centenary Hospital for Women and Children is the level 6 tertiary referral centre for the ACT and surrounding
region with over 3700 births. It has a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a regional role extending throughout
southern NSW and over 200 level 3 admissions each year.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology recognises the importance of work life balance and choice related
to family planning. We are supportive of part time applicants and Maternity Leave.
This is an accredited RANZCOG Training site but also provides a number of unaccredited registrar positions to assist
with upskilling and support in future career steps including applying for RANZCOG training, or obtaining a Diploma.
The accredited positions are highly structured in line with the RANZCOG curriculum, with inbuilt rostered time for
research, administrative tasks and study. There is a structured teaching program with 4 hours of protected time per
week. There is ample exposure to a variety of clinical opportunities and access to rural and metropolitan rotations
in keeping with RANZCOG basic training requirements.
The unaccredited positions are service roles that would suit a junior registrar seeking additional experience, or
overseas-trained doctors. The majority of duties will be in the area of acute obstetrics, outpatient clinics and
emergency gynaecology, exposure to gynaecological operating will be limited. Training and supervision
opportunities will be catered for.

About the Role:
The Department of Dermatology manages patients of all ages with a wide range of skin diseases often in
association with multiple active co-morbidities. The unit provides inpatient services and outpatient consultation
services.
Applicants should have had training and experience in Dermatology with an AMC accredited postgraduate
qualification in Dermatology; and current AHPRA Specialist Registration.
The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment with a team of nursing and medical
staff, including Australian College of Dermatologists Trainees. The successful applicant will be expected to take a
role in teaching and assessment within the Australian National University (ANU) Medical School and will be
involved in education and training of medical students and junior medical staff (including physician trainees). There
are significant opportunities to undertake research and quality assurance projects.
Strong research links are maintained with the ANU, University of Canberra and the Australian Catholic University.
All specialties are represented with the exception of organ transplantation. The hospital has well developed post
graduate teaching programs. A fully equipped medical library is available on site with a large collection of hard copy
and on line journals and textbooks.
The preferred candidate maybe considered for a conjoint position in ANU at an academic level commensurate with
the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The academic position will be held for the duration of the Canberra
Health Services employment and will be subject to regular performance reviews. No remuneration is attached to
the University position. The employee will be responsible to the University on academic matters and to The
Canberra Hospital & Health Services / Canberra Health Services for clinical/ research matters.

About the Role:
Position Overview
The Division of Surgery at Canberra Hospital provides comprehensive surgical and critical care services to the ACT
and surrounding regions, including a newly established 4-bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a 36-bed
Adult ICU. This state-of-the-art facility supports short-term critical care for children, with increasing paediatric
presentations and strong collaboration with Paediatric Medicine, Surgery, and tertiary PICU networks such as the
Sydney Children’s Health Network.
We are seeking a specialist with experience in adult and paediatric intensive care, or a dedicated PICU specialist.
The role includes providing critical care to children, supported by ICU colleagues with paediatric expertise and
paediatric anaesthetists. Depending on experience and interest, the position may also include participation in the
adult ICU on-call roster. Ongoing performance reviews will support professional development across clinical
governance, education, and research.
Strong research links are maintained with the ANU, University of Canberra and the Australian Catholic University.
All specialties are represented with the exception of organ transplantation. The hospital has well developed post

About the Role:
Registered Nurse Level 2 (RN2) forms a key part of direct patient care and lays the foundation of clinical leadership
at North Canberra Hospital (NCH). This entails advance knowledge in the field of practice, appropriate skills and
experience of team leadership. At NCH, the role of RN2 encompasses four key categories: clinical, management,
education and research. RN2 is expected to excel in all four categories.

The Nurse Graduate Program Clinical Development Nurse will work within the Clinical Education Team to provide

administrators, service designers, business analysts, experience designers and others involved in the delivery of
apps and related products and services) to achieve organisational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage, maintain, and monitor the Field Service Platform utilising a team of System Administrators, Testers,
Release Managers, Developers, vendors and other technical specialists.
Working with the Solution Architects and Business Architects on the platform, to progress activities relating to the
ICT roadmap, including Salesforce and MuleSoft integration components on the platform.
Manage third-party support contracts, platform licenses, maintenance, backups, account administration and
upgrade activities of the platform in addition to progressing platform technical debt.
Support the delivery of smaller ICT Projects building on the platform, as well as ensuring the platform aligns with
the CED (TCCS stream) ICT Strategy and ACT Digital Strategy.
Manage technical resources to progress Salesforce BAU tickets to tune and troubleshoot applications, and support
training as required.
Supply and tailor reporting and metrics to committees and in response to ministerial and other requests.
Ensure configuration and management documentation occurs on the platform, including Business Continuity Plans.
In addition, presenting regular reports to the senior leadership team in key platform maintenance activities,
including potential future solution options.
Provide leadership in planning and managing IT product and service development.
Identify and implement good practice for optimising infrastructure and operational costs, improving system
performance and ensuring service-level requirements are achieved.
Manage the relationships between CED and other Directorates.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Salesforce certifications are highly desirable, in addition to delivering projects in a Salesforce or similar
environment.
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or related
discipline, as well as greater than ten years’ experience managing platforms and/or IT operations is highly
desirable.

detention facility for young people between the ages of 10 to 21 years. The Narrabundah House Indigenous
Supported Residential Facility (NHISRF) provides supported accommodation to young men between the ages of 15
and 18 years. A key requirement will be the development and management of several significant external
stakeholder relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience delivering human services and innovative program
management within a complex delivery environment. You will have a passion for understanding trauma informed
practice and a therapeutic model of support for young people at risk.

Following a recent machinery-of-government review, a new ACT Health and Community Services Directorate has
been established with effect from 1 July 2025. The Directorate:
oversees the ACT health system and the delivery of policy and planning for publicly funded health services across
the Territory; and
is responsible for a wide range of human services policy and service delivery functions, including funding of
community organisations, to assist people who are disadvantaged or experiencing a crisis.
The Directorate has an annual budget of approximately $900M and a staffing complement of around 2000 FTE.
The Position
In this high profile and challenging role, you will be responsible for the governance and leadership of a large,
diverse and complex Directorate. You will be required to provide reliable, timely and robust advice to multiple
Ministers and Cabinet in relation to policies, strategies and service delivery. You will also work closely with the
Head of Service and other Directors-General and agency heads, including the CEO of Canberra Hospital and Health
Services, and will be expected to develop strong and enduring relationships with a range of other government and
non-government stakeholders. As a member of the ACT Public Service Strategic Board, you will play a key part in
the leadership of the ACTPS and in the promotion of a culture that reflects agreed service-wide values.

Remuneration and Benefits
The position attracts a total remuneration package ranging from $487,516 to $504,838 pa (depending on existing
superannuation) including a $433,050 cash (base salary) component, parking (or payment in lieu) and
superannuation benefits. Superannuation for defined benefit schemes in other jurisdictions may be portable to the
ACT Government in some circumstances.
Contract Period
The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five
