B. Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have valid certificate of the above-mentioned branch from
recognized institutions.
C. Mode of Selection:
1. Candidates will be shortlisted in accordance with the criteria prescribed by
management.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification/trade test
through the NATS 2.0 Portal. Final shortlisted candidates will be called for
joining through their NATS 2.0 registered email IDs only.

D. How to Apply:
Candidates need to register themselves on apprenticeship portal (NATS 2.0)
nats.education.gov.in After registration they should apply for
apprenticeship in their own branch. Find establishment NTPC Ltd, Farakka,
Establishment ID- EWBMUC000003 and apply.

E. General Conditions:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Only Candidates passed Graduate and Diploma on or after 01.04.2021 are
eligible.
3. All qualifications should be from recognized Institutions.
4. As per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended from time to
time and the candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship or
terminated their apprenticeship midway or pursuing in other organizations or
in NTPC Ltd. with the same qualification level, shall not be eligible for
engagement as apprentice.
5. Candidates claiming to belong to any category shall necessarily have a valid
EWS/OBC/ SC/ST certificate from the Competent Authority. Reservations
of seats as per statutory norms of government.
6. The candidate should be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 years, as
on 01.04.2025. Age relaxation as per government norms.
7. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel/
restrict/enlarge the number of seats/ cancel the advertisement if need so
arises, without any further notice.
8. TA/DA will not be provided for attending the trade test/document
verification/training.
9. NTPC Ltd has no obligation to give regular employment to Apprentices.
They shall have no right to claim regular employment from NTPC Ltd. based
on Apprenticeship Training. This training program shall not create any
 liability on NTPC Ltd. for providing any job to the Apprentices. NTPC Ltd.
management does not take any responsibility for further employment/
placement.
10. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all
matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode
of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc. No
correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is
solely at the decision of the management based on suitability of candidates
and no claim will be entertained.
11. NTPC Ltd. Management does not take any responsibility to reply to the
candidate/ organization for non-selection /non-issuance of call letter.
12. Candidates applying for more than one branch/discipline will not be
considered and may be rejected.
13. Apprentices shall undergo training at the Regional Learning Institute as well
as at various locations within the power plant and other offices of NTPC Ltd.
Farakka.
14. The selected candidate will have to follow all rules and regulations of NTPC
Ltd. If anyone at any stage violates the rules and regulations of NTPC Ltd.,
his/her training will end automatically.
15. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfils
the eligibility and other norms mentioned above, as on the specified dates and
that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is found at
any stage of training that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and /
or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has
suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand automatically
cancelled.
