1. Adjust date and time using month- July, day-08, year-2014, time- current time and time zone (GMT
+3:00) Nairobi.

5. Make screen saver using the following SCREEN SAVER OPTIONS:

6. Make the screen resolution of the desktop icons 800 by 600 pixels.

7. Customize the desktop icons

8. Change the start menu to classical start menu of the task bar

9. Display My network places and network connections to the start menu

10. Hide Run and search from the start menu

11. Hide desktop icons
Steps: right click on the free screen arrange icons byuncheck
12. Create user accounts and their password using the following:

Steps: start control panel user accounts user accounts click 

next click create

account buttonopen the created accountclick 

 click create password button

Follow similar steps for the other user accounts.
a. User1 and user2 ____ limited privilege and password 1-5
b. User3 and user4____ administrator privilege password 1-5
c. Change the picture of user1&2 to ball icon, and user3&4 plane icons.
d. Remove the password of user 1&2, and change the password of user3&4 to 1-4.
e. Delete the account of user1 and change the account type of user2 to administrator.
13. Change the windows welcome screen to classical dialogue box and viseversal.
Steps: start control panel user accounts user accounts click

Uncheck  click apply option.

14. Create a folder name “JOOMLA” on the desktop and change the folder icon to my computer icon.

Steps: right click on the free screen  click type the name 

A. Share the folder APTC

C. Create a short cut icon of the folder APTC

D. Hide the folder ICT

E. Rename the folder HARDWARE to DB

Steps: 1. right click on the Folder HARDWAREclick type DB.
16. Create the following on my Local disk (D:): JOOMLA\TECHAT\ICT\DATABASE
A. Share the folder joomla
Steps: right click on the folder JOOMLAclick share and security select share this folder
and type the share name apply ok.
B. Give allow Full control security permission to access by user1 and user2
Steps: right click on the folder JOOMLAclick properties  click

click  click  select the users you want to add okok

select the user to give permission check allow full control

 apply ok.

C. Give deny Full control security permission to access by user3 and user4
D. Steps: right click on the folder JOOMLAclick properties  click

17. Remove program using task manager
Steps: Click CTRL + ALT + Delete displays windows task manager

18. Search a program file “hosts” and display its path.

21. Delete any folder from desktop
Steps: 1. select the folders you want to delete click delete on the keyboard click yes
2. Select the folders you want to delete right click on it click delete click yes.
22. Restore the folder deleted in Q21.
Steps: open Recycle bin select the deleted file/folder you want to restoreclick
23. Format the local disk (D :)

24. Move any folder from my documents to local disk (D :)
