As a famished man, I walked back home as normal.
Just about
a few steps to step in and pounce on anything at home, I heard an
unexpected sound just in a bush by one side of the road. I took a
glimpse, hoping it would be a lizard as it has always been. I then
decided to look at the type of lizard it would be so as to admire it,
only to see a reptile different from a lizard.
The creature arraigned itself to cross the road I was plying
without minding if anyone was coming. I was not perplexed until I
saw a snake stretching out in it’s full length. My instincts were
shattered and my hunger vanished into their thin air.
There was no speed I could engage to make me move away
from the course on which it was going and I could never tell if it was
going to change direction.
Like a frog, I threw myself violently (without steeze 😂) and
without calculation into the air and I hoped to maintain the air
position for as long as 2 minutes but Isaacs law of gravity would not
allow me stay longer than normal. The air let go of me but the snake
was not yet gone to it’s destination (the other side of the road) and it
was still under my feet. I was left with falling on the snake until my
instincts gathered back to me and I was forced to twist my body and
majorly my legs so that they would not land on it, thereby annoying
it which was almost unsuccessful.
After I came to myself, a passer-by in his very neat and
cooperate dress, whom I hoped should have been the victim instead
of me congratulated me. I could not look back to see his reactions
though.
None of us dared to raise the suggestion of killing the reptile,
feared had gripped us 😂.
