Opening

Nandini:

Good morning, everyone! On behalf of the Department of Geography, Kalindi College, it gives
me immense pleasure to welcome you all to today's special lecture and speech competition.
This event aims to provide a platform for meaningful discussions on crucial socio-economic
issues and celebrate intellectual exchange.

Srishti:

Today's event is centered on two significant discussions—our special lecture on Women,

Nature, and Space: Ecofeminist Perspective on Geography and the speech competition on
National Policy and Women Empowerment for Socio-Economic Development. We are honored
to have an esteemed guest, Dr. Reena Kapoor from Dept. of English, Dyal Singh College to
share her insights with us.
