BioFiltro’s patented biodynamic aerobic (BIDA®) system catalyzes the digestive power of worms
and microbes to rapidly filter out wastewater contaminants. Water, applied intermittently to the
biofilter via a surface irrigation system, percolates down through various medias where
contaminants are trapped and digested by a biofilm. As worms burrow in search of solids, they
create channels which aerate the system while their microbial rich castings propagate and
nourish the microbial colonies consuming dissolved and soluble contaminants. When the water
hits the system floor, it drains out of the system via exit pipes and can be reutilized for
agricultural irrigation or discharged to sewers at reduced contaminant levels. The only thing left
behind is a valuable byproduct: worm casting compost.
Quite simply, our clients make cents out of sustainability.

Our Control Unit is the brain and headworks of
Take Control of Your Wastewater our modular systems. We pack all the
components specific to your needs into this
unit and deliver a system that is operable not
only within hours of delivery, but also from your
cellphone, tablet, or computer.
Housed in a 10’L x 8’ W x 8’ H shipping
container, the standard unit includes an
equalization tank, flow meter, sensors and
probes, recirculation, pump station, and PLC.
Optional features includes solid separator(s),
pH adjustment system, and climate control
equipment. One control unit can support up to
4,000 GPD, larger volumes may require
additional/larger equalization tank(s). The unit
can run off of generators and/or solar panels to
service areas that are off of the grid. Exterior
paint and branding can also be customized.

Our Wriggler is a compact stand alone
Wiggle with your Wastewater wastewater package system housed in a 20’
shipping container. With a maximum treatment
capacity up to 1,500 gallons per day, this
system is ideal for rural sanitary needs,
boutique processors, and/or for research.
The Wriggler is sold with a Control Unit to
provide upstream treatment and total system
control. One Control Unit can service up to six
units though modifications to upstream storage
capacity may be required after the initial three
units. System requires influent pH to be
between 6.0 - 9.0 and the Control Unit can be
purchased with a pH adjustment system.
Our units are designed and built in California
and take 4 - 6 weeks to deliver. They are
available to purchase or can be financed
through our Wastewater as a Service model.
