7. EXECUTION PROCEDURE
a. Process the respective documentation such as Road Closure, ATS, Support Certificate No. 2, Permit for
Work and Lifting Plan.
b. Carry out the respective release of conformity of the bases that receive the ladder, validating the
correct alignment and leveling of the pedestals.
c. Identify and correctly mark the elements and the location where the assembly will take place,
delivering the respective topographic survey reports.
d. Verify in the field and/or through plans the location of possible obstacles in the area.
e. Carry out the pre-operational inspection of the tools and equipment that will be used.

Section No. 1: formed by platform (level 0.00) and step section (level 0.00 to -1.875).
Section no. 2: composed of platform (level -1.875) and step section (level -1.875 to
-3,725.
Section No. 3: composed of platform (level -3.725) and step section (level -3.725 to
-5,575).
Section No. 4: made up of platform (level -5.575) and step section (level -5.575 to
-7,375).
h. To facilitate the handling of the sections, some of them will not have grids and/or the
steps, which will be installed upon the completion of the assembly activity.
i. The crane will be positioned over the track, leveled, and supported using loading slings for each section of the
ladder to be assembled. The maximum weight considered per section to be assembled is 2 tons.
The crane has a minimum capacity of 3 tons.
j. The nuts of the bolts on the pedestals will be leveled, which will serve as a guide for the
leveling of the columns.
With a crane, section n° 3 will be placed on the ground between the existing wall and the pedestals, to
subsequently raised and welded. This must be done because if the sections are mounted first
1 and 2 will block the entrance to section 3, which is why it will only be located in its stated position.
section.
l. The columns will be erected and installed, and through topographic checking, the levels will be reviewed and
they will adjust the nuts. The columns are prefabricated individually, they are not associated with
no section.
If necessary, the railings and any other obstacles at level 0.00 will be removed in order to weld the
section n° 1 with the arrival plate.
The welder will perform the tacking and the two welding passes from the basket of the manlift for all the
sections. The Welding Procedure WPS-002 from MR Ingenieros will be followed, which is already available
qualified and approved.
Section No. 1 will be raised and presented; this action will be aided by manipulation of
strings that will act as "winds".
The manlift will be located on the roadway or on the west side of the stairs, and from its basket the

r. The welder, again from the manlift basket, will perform the welds to join section n° 2
with the profiles of section no. 1 and the column at level -1.875, and with the other column at the level
-3,725. In addition, the 'friend foot' will also be welded to the column.

the structure.
The anchors will be installed against the existing wall using plates and threaded rods, at the levels
0.00 and -5.575.
It will be verified that all elements of the metal structure (steps, grilles, handrails, profiles,
plates, etc.) are properly welded or bolted as appropriate. If applicable for this assembly,
The points where torque is required will be indicated, and a torque application table will be provided.
The affected painting will be repaired, following the Cleaning and Painting procedure.
Metal structure P02-012-SIG-PE-P-037-V01. Thickness measurements of the affected area will be taken and
repaired.
