Unpacking the packages

• Step 1: Please remove the screws on the wooden box with an electric drill equipped
with 8mm sleeve. Remove all the boards and tapes, foams and packing films from
the machine.
• Step 2: Use forklift (load capacity ≥2,000Kg) to remove the equipment from the
wooden pallet. It should be placed on the flat ground before the printer being
moved to designated position. Please notice there is a warning light kit attached on
the wooden pallet, please keep it for further installation
• Step 3: Use forklift to move the equipment to the factory and place it in the
designated position.
• Step 4: After determining the position, hold up the four Forma wheel legs and fix the
equipment.

Buttons explanations on control panel

DP. ON button
• Only in ON status, XYZ axis movement and heating
function can be activated

• To power on the printer

OFF button

AUTO/MANU switch key


• When in AUTO mode, front door can be opened only when in below conditions (chamber temp
<70°C and DP.ON button in off status)
• When in MANU mode, front door can be opened in anytime

• Make sure to turn DP.ON button “ON” when you want to move X/Y/Z axis or heat the chamber

Accessories obtaining

• Step 1: Open the front door (the security lock of the front door should be in the status of mechanical
unlocking), and take out the internal goods shipped with the equipment (warning light, printing head
cover, buildsheet, etc.).

• Step 2: install the warning light on the top right front of the printer. Before installation, plug the signal
wires properly. (See instruction video from below link)

• Step 3: Insert the plastic buildsheet (A transparent board and make sure to peel off the protection film in
both sides) on the buildplate.

Remove XY axis fixation

• Step 1: Place the ladder to the left behind the


equipment, climb up the ladder, and lift up the rear top
cover

• Step 2: As shown in the illustration, a red fixing block


restricts the rotation of the XY shaft screw near the
motor end. Loosen the four M6 hexagon socket screws
to loose and remove the fixing block.

• Step 3: Keep the fixing block and screw, and use them
again in case the equipment will be moved in distance.

Filling of coolant

• Step 1: Use a straight screwdriver to unscrew the cap at


the coolant nozzle (as shown in the figure below) and fill
the tank through the funnel.

• Step 2: When adding coolant, you can add purified


water or other clean antifreeze, adding liquid must
exceed the minimum liquid level line. In order to achieve
a better effect of the chiller, it is recommended to make
the liquid level as close to the highest liquid level line as
possible, with the maximum filling volume of about 1.8L.

• Step 3: Reset the cap after filling coolant
