1.0 PROJECT BACKGROUND
1.1 INTRODUCTION
MEINHARDT EPCM SDN BHD referred to as COMPANY (L2) has awarded OOI WAN LYE SDN BHD
(OWLSB) referred to as CONTRACTOR (L3) with 2023 Clean & Bright Projects at SH JALAN GAMBANG
KUANTAN KM5
2.0 DOCUMENT PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 DOCUMENT PURPOSE
This Document is intended to describe the method of statement for works at SH JALAN GAMBANG
KUANTAN KM5

3.0 METHODOLOGY/WORK SEQUENCES
DISMANTLE EXISTING CEILING
1. Dismantle existing ceiling panel • Park scaffold at the desired location. Barricade
the work area.
• Begin at one edge or corner of the ceiling.
• Gently detach each panel or tile from the
suspension system, using a flat-head
screwdriver or removal tool if necessary
2. Dismantle existing ceiling support • Remove the existing bracket by cutting the
strip/bracket and wire hanger hanger wire from the canopy structure to the
bracket.
• Place the existing ceiling panel on the ground
by tying the panel with a rope and lower it
down from the scaffolding
3. Install Ceiling Support Strip and Wire Hangers • Install ceiling Support Strip by Hanging the
Ceiling Support Strip to the Canopy Structure
• Hang the Ceiling Support Strip using Wire
hanger.
• Make Sure the Level of Ceiling Support Strip is
at the Same Height
4. Install new ceiling panel • Attach the strip ceiling panels to the
suspension system using screws or clips
provided by the manufacturer.
• Use a level to ensure that the strip ceiling
panels are perfectly aligned and level.
• Attach back the canopy lighting to the ceiling
panel by using cordless screwdriver.
• Clean up the ceiling panel and ensure no stains
or hand marking retain on the ceiling panel
