Once there lived a girl called Mansa.
She had a pet. The name of the pet was Adom.
Adom was a black and white cat.
One day, Mansa returned from school very
early. When she entered the house, Adom was
not at the gate to meet her.
Mansa was surprised. She said, “Adom
where are you?” She ran to the living room.
Adom was not there. She searched in her room.
Adom was not there.

Mansa went to her mother’s room. Adom was
not there. She ran to the kitchen. Ah, there was
her pet. Adom had got a mouse. So Adom was
not lost. Mansa found her pet. She was happy.

Kojo and Kwesi
Last Saturday, Kojo and Kwesi went to the
farm. On the way, they saw a fat rat. It was not
too far away. Kojo picked a stone and threw it
at the rat. He missed and the rat ran away. They
were unhappy.
They walked quickly to the farm. Their father
was waiting for them. His trap had caught a fat
rat. Kojo and Kwesi became happy.

Bruno catches a rat
Early one morning, Alex heard birds singing.

“Bruno, catch!” Bruno ran after the rat.
The rat ran and ran. Bruno ran and ran.
Suddenly, Bruno jumped and caught the rat
with its right paw.
